Waiting on my bitcoin to buy KlondikeCoin, i was watching it for a while and saw it's potential.
Too bad i wasn't in on it before, but you can't be everywhere.

I think it's on his real way up now!

So with the hype that Klondike was added to Bter.com and Coinmarket.io was down, I went and made an account.
But i been trying to withdraw KDC for like 4 hours now, and its still processing..
Is this normal? With Coinmarket.io i had my KDC within 5 min..

Be careful with BTER.  There's been reports before about withdrawals not happening.

I'm not saying that this is still the case, but you can easily search and find a number of people that swear off of it.

-Fuse

Ye saw different kinds of negative post of BTER after i googled withdraw time on BTER.
But because the hype that Klondike was added to Bter.com was big, i thought it was pretty safe to trade there..
I hope i am still getting my KDC..

Also make sure the wallet address you want to send to is your current wallet.

BTER auto fills the wallet space with the last used wallet!

I made the mistake of sending 0.04 btc to an old wallet address!

Gone forever Sad

Do you think these prices will drastically go down? I sold a few thousand earlier thinking I judged the peak correctly and looked to buy back in, well it's been 2 days now and it just keeps rising and rising. I don't want to buy back in now and then watch it fall again, lol.

Prices will rocket once on mintpal then drop, the clever bit is timing the drop and buy back in when it goes back up and levels off. This coin maybe different there are some excellent services no other coin has. 30mins to find out!  Wink

It's really, REALLY hard to tell with this coin. The traditional Mintpal and Cryptsy listing is usually a pretty big increase followed by a dump. However, if you check a few of the other coins that were  listed there was a far bigger increase in value before hitting Mintpal, and a lot more volume. There haven't been many big buys for KDC in the lead up, and there aren't actually many sell orders in even at the values at the moment. This kind of indicates to me that people are holding the coin, so it could buck the trend and actually get a bit of a pump and hold the value.

With the current block rewards from mining, the price needs to be over 15k satoshi to be really worth mining. Also, the reduction in coins from mining has reduced the amount of coins getting dumped into the market every day, which helps long term value increase.

dang, how did I miss out on this?  I'm very new, just started mining and trading in Feb.. so I have been reading all the the launch and ANN threads to determine what to mine..  Guess I missed out on this one by a few weeks.. Now that someone has pointed it out in another thread, I'm again crushed to find out I can only get  16 per block vs 77 .. dang!

Well, I want to be part of the gang, so I went ahead and bought some on BTER (and added a few more votes on mintpal for the heck of it..).  I wondered why I started checking out the pools and they were all bare.. I don't blame ya, 77 -> 16 is a big leap.  I feel like I missed out on some great coins for the time mined..  I think I'll throw a few hash at it anyway just to be an honorary member..

I was glad to see the sell orders are actually holding value, I'm sure some of you must hold some nice stacks of coin at this point.. Good for you guys to not sell short.. it gave me confidence to buy!  Hopefully it stays that way as it hits the bigger exchanges..  I may not have been onboard from the ground level, but I still smell some cheap coins vs what the future holds.. so I'm gonna try to make up for some lost time.  Any other advice for a noob?  Is 16 block reward crazy to mine now?

I suppose the value can only go up as the supply dries up (assuming they don't all get dumped on mintpal tonight!)

Peace

Don't worry about dumping. This coin has an unlimited potential and people are thinking 10x time before selling it Tongue

Hey, welcome!

It's not too late to mine KDC. The diff is high atm but the price is low. The price will go up with time and so will the diff. I think we will see 15k sat (the value it must be to be worth mining) in a few days.
I've been mining KDC for a long time and I'm not planning on changing that.

I hold 22k, my friend holds 21k, Placebo has a nice stack and Jilixi too. We will not dump, absolutely not. I don't think the people with a lot of coins will. Not the ones who are active here at least Smiley

Mine now while you still can get 16coins/block. In about 3 weeks it's 8coins/block!

It's not too late really, the difficulty is so low that it's a great investment for the future. I'm still mining even though I've been here for a while.

Welcome Smiley

As others have said, good to try and mine a bit now whilst the difficulty is still low.

With regards to value going up as supply dries up, that's only true if the coin has the services to back it up, which is what we've all being trying to ensure. There are some great services for the coin, and a really great community!
