Good config for R9 280x and maybe 7970

If theres anyone out there stuck at 475 kh/s using this card, try this:

--scrypt-jane --sj-nfmin 2 --sj-nfmax 40 --sj-time 1388361600 -I 14 --gpu-engine 1225 --gpu-memclock  1500 --thread-concurrency 8192 --temp-target 85  --expiry 1 --queue 0 --no-submit-stale --vectors 1 --gpu-powertune 20

Getting 535 kh/s stable on my Gigabyte Windforce 280x. Core voltage is set to default (1.163v)

Still getting a few hardware errors (15 in 10 hours) but its working well, gpu temp at 69-73 degrees.

If you find this useful, consider donating a few UTC: UREwekb174nFiATUAW88dkJuZ594H6Mkjp

Cheers!

my 280X gaming 3g from MSI, are working far better, like 540-580kh/s, just normal settings, 16384 TC and 13 I

What is your GPU voltage set at?

Took a lot of tweaking to get that speed outta it and stable..

Same card will do 750 kh/s on normal scrypt with core voltage at 1.019.

Might buy a 7990 to play with but it wont be a Gigabyte one!

Try this i get 0 HW errors and i get 585 khash each card both 280x

--scrypt-jane --sj-nfmin 4 --sj-nfmax 30 --sj-time 1388361600 -g 2 -w 256 -I 13,13 --lookup-gap 2 --thread-concurrency 8192,8192 --gpu-engine 1080,1080 --gpu-memclock 1500,1500 --expiry 1 --scan-time 1 --queue 0 --no-submit-stale

1080 core and 1500mem is the sweet spot for 280x

I'm really sorry to say this, but it seems that our security system wasn't enough.
Just now i received a message from someone that he has hacked our exchange, and if we want to stop this, we have to pay 10 BTC. Obviously, we are not going to pay our users' money, and we temporarily closed the exchange. We have made an secutity audit to see what's missing, and found ~1200 LTC stolen (nearly 40% of all LTC),  nearly ~50% of LEAFcoins, and ~20% NYANcoins. All other currencies remained nearly unchanged.
Just now we deciding what refund can we make (dev team has nearly 200 LTC on their own, and i can give up some too). We will make a message after we have an agreement. We will 100% refund all other (not-leaf, nyan or LTC) currencies, and try to refund as much ltc as we can.
As i see, it was sql-injection, but it doesn't helped him much - all passwords are stored as hashed ones. So he just brute-forced all low-security passwords to steal their money. So if you haven't got email auth - it is possible that your account was just jacked.

I also have possible ideas about openex malware in source code, but without proofs i can't do anything.

I'm new to the scrypt-jane thing, getting odd results from my reference 7970s.

In one rig (only 2 cards, but 8GB RAM) they do 535 kh each at the usual setting which gives me 700 kh/s in regular scrypt.
The other rigs (3 & 4 cards, only 2GB RAM each) they only do 455 kh at exactly the same settings.

Does system RAM influence hashing speed?

So far I'm getting the following from my primary rig here
2xSapphire R9 290 on Gigabyte mobo with Phenom hex core running 16GB RAM and 850W PSU

this is the batch I run to start it all off....
setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
ultracoinminer -o stratum+tcp://XXXX.XX:9999 -u worker.name -p pass --scrypt-jane --sj-nfmin 4 --sj-nfmax 30 --sj-time 1388361600 --no-submit-stale

My cgminer.conf IN the ultracoin-miner comes up like this....

"intensity" : "19,19",
"vectors" : "1,1",
"worksize" : "256,256",
"kernel" : "scrypt-jane,scrypt-jane",
"lookup-gap" : "2,2",
"thread-concurrency" : "32765,32765",
"shaders" : "0,0",
"gpu-engine" : "965,965",
"gpu-fan" : "0-75,0-75",
"gpu-memclock" : "1250,1250",
"gpu-memdiff" : "0,0",
"gpu-powertune" : "20,20",
"gpu-vddc" : "0.000,0.000",
"temp-cutoff" : "95,95",
"temp-overheat" : "85,85",
"temp-target" : "75,75",

with all that I am getting a consistent 635kh/s on the cards. Under "standard LTC" mining conditions (no JANE) I usually get 810kh/s from them. Seems that the 20-25% drop off in processing is normal for JANE. Also, under LTC mining the cards run very hot whereas under UTC mining they do run cooler. I seem to get very few errors with the above config.
