I just put one of my 7970s on UTC but I'm only getting 425 kh/s. I used the same settings I get 700 kh/s everywhere else. What do I have to change in the bat file to get it back to 700 kh/s?

Has anyone set up UTC on BAMT or SMOS? I have my Windows rig mining it so far, but want to do the same on my other SMOS rigs as well.

Because the devs want this coin to be something that stays within the reach of cpu/gpu miners, rather than those with the resources to buy $20k+ worth of ASIC miners to dominate minting. IMO of course. vvvortex

550KH/s from a 280x is excellent. Most people only get around 500 KH/s. It's actually better getting lower hash rate than other Scrypt-based coins. Means you are using less power and generating less heat mining scrypt-jane. It also means you don't have to compete with ASICs due out soon. UTC is currently more profitable currently than ALL coins on coinwarz. That's all that matters at the end.

Same here... using a P3 kill-a-watt... pulling 480W from wall on scrypt... 480W from wall on scrypt-jane
