Could someone help me with a problem? I am running the miner form the front page and have two 280x cards. My bat file is: ultracoinminer -o stratum+tcp://ultra.leetpools.com:3333 -u user.1 -p x --scrypt-jane --sj-nfmin 4 --sj-nfmax 30 --sj-time 1388361600 --thread-concurrency 8192 -g 2 -I 13 -w 256 --temp-cutoff 90 --temp-overheat 85 --gpu-powertune 20 --gpu-threads 2 --expiry 1 --queue 0 --no-submit-stale
I input my miner and password but it is giving me this :
Pool 0 JSON Stratum Auth failed: (null)
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Quick question,
Is 600-625 mh for a 280x acceptable for this coin? Is 715-725mh for a 290 acceptable for this coin?
It's just my usual hash is higher within Scrpyt, by a good 25%~
Kind regards,
Yep, those are spot on what you should be getting. As a matter of fact youre beating my 280xs by about 70+Khs Good job! Thanks! Yeah I must say, These MSI Gamer OC TF V1.2 280x's are awesome cards for mining. mind telling me what kind of settings you guys are using to get that rate on scrypt-jane? I've been using my normal scrypt settings for my cards and my rate is only like 2/3 of normal scrypt. waltsmith

Remove "stratum+tcp://" also remove the (--gpu-threads 2) reference. you already took care of it with (-g 2) waltsmith

Make sure that your user names is configured right on the my workers page
If your username is username
in the my workers page add a 1, then password X
so in your config you would have -u username.1 -p x

Did you create the worker called "1" in the pool? If not, create it with x as the password. That error usually happens when your worker's -u and -p is wrong. (or if it doesn't even exist!)

I just seen on Leetpools website that catalyst 14.1 doesn't work for jane scrypt, how do i tell if that is what i am running? The miner starts up and searches for, acknowledges difficulty level, then goes bad from there. I did everything right and I do mine most other coins with o problem using cgminer but scrypt jane is new to me. Didn't figure that it would bethis difficult.
Thanks

Your username needs to be your login username and your miner name. It should read -u loginname.minername -p your password

This is my miner setup:
ultracoinminer -o ultra.leetpools.com:3333 -u skribnod.1 -p x --scrypt-jane --sj-nfmin 4 --sj-nfmax 30 --sj-time 1388361600 --thread-concurrency 8192 -g 2 -I 13 -w 256 --temp-cutoff 90 --temp-overheat 85 --gpu-powertune 20 --expiry 1 --queue 0 --no-submit-stale
Still gives me the stratum fail and "Null"
Thanks

ultra.leetpools isnt working for me now either... this is ridiculous how the pools keep going down..... Oh well, set failover for both pools... if both go down it'll switch to solo mining for me

can verify this , I just installed 14 today , and nothing but HW errors on R9 290 , back to scrypt mining for multimedia rig only reason I am sticking with 14 atm is no tearing during media playback + can mine something at same time normally I remove ati drivers and go back to mesa on weekends to watch media

Just go ahead and flush your DNS and give us a try. We are up with 600Mhs!

When I try to run the UltraCoin miner, it opens and then nothing happens. Any idea as to whats wrong? When I try to connect through the console, nothing happens after I enter my info. It just freezes.
