/sigh

Nitro down again.  I wish I wasn't at work so I could switch pools because this is becoming really annoying.

Yeah bumface really needs to edit the main post... That "TRUE" needs to be "true", it has confused a lot of people...

Yea, I feel like I correct someone on this every 5 pages or so.

I think this is no coincidence.
There must be someone, who is killing the pools and solo/privat-pool mining when the diff is almost zero.

Its either someone with huge DDoS power (why arent the pools protecte  Huh Huh Huh Ive looked at 6-7 and all empty) or someone who has power over UTC distribution (have no idea if this is possible).

But this is no coincidence!

They aren't handed out like cookies, you can't centrally block any cryptocurrency.  It's DDoS.

Is it that hard to protect the servers against DDoS? As far as I know, this goes on at least since Friday.

Well, it costs money. The higher the bandwidth of the attack the more it costs, and there is a point where too much is too much though I doubt any of the attacks are that large (attacking costs money too)

So is there any possibility of this coin going on Cryptsy?
Seems all other coins go on it really quick except UTC?

@bumface
1. Have you contacted Cryptsy? Any feedbacks?
2. What about BTC-e? Have you talked to them about it?

Please chill we are still young with this coin. If we went on cryptsy right now it would be just big pump and dump.

Cryptsy...at the moment people are just filing a request for listing.

  As for BTC-e, we never know.  There is no connection directly between this coin and the exchange.  I assume though, if UTC does well and remains stable (for the most part);  then it has a chance.  Hard to say for sure.

WTH is going on with the leetpools site? I try to log in and I get Invalid Captcha, please try again. There's no captcha anything on the log in screen.  Huh Sad
