Mintpal needs to add LTC to DRK for the next few days !!
LTC will crumble as people convert. Let them hear about it guys.
Guys contact Mintpal and Cryptsy to add LTC -> DRK Also get ready for rejects from BTC-E trollbox to swamp this thread and give you investment decisions as they are world renowned philanthropists like cryptohunter, ymer, r0ach and the other 2 dogs who are perennial Darkcoin fans. Cryptohunter, Iloveanoncoin, etc, are just trolls. read their post history, they're bagholders for other coins, realized they should of been in dark, and are now enraged. And cryptohunter wrote the post #5 of this thread. He could have been a millionaire by now lol

I think we should maintain the troll list somewhere, a thread maybe, to make it easier for everyone.

How is this even possible? I thought the distributed blockchain existed to prevent anyone tampering with it - corrupt versions should get rejected by the network... It's not corrupted or "tampered with", it's functioning as intended. As an example, think about a Bitcoin address, which can be essentially any combination of numbers and letters. If I wanted to send bitcoins to 1thelonecroutonXXXXXXX35Y2 then I could do so. (Although it would be impossible to spend them from this address.) Now instead of "thelonecrouton", put some text that is the "signature" for a well-known virus. This is basically what happened. (Although it might not have been an address, since there are other parts of Bitcoin transactions where you can put arbitrary text.) It is a pretty good prank, actually

Namecoin adds something pretty cool to Bitcoin, so do a lot of the others up there. I wouldn't trivialize them in the same category as the other shitcoins, despite being presently less useful than a privacy coin.

Nope. The potential damage to the computer for running hotter will be much more that what you'll get (even with X11 laptops are not made for mining). Just buy more, it will be cheaper.

I'm not cool enough to post on that thread . My suggestions: http://pastebin.com/La2QGfQDhttp://pastebin.com/diff.php?i=La2QGfQDEdit: "In return for providing this service," in paragraph 2 (or p3 if you count the headline) should be "In return for providing these services," Edit 2: Double check my capitalization of Masternode. I capitalized it mid-sentence once or twice, didn't capitalize a couple other times. Personally I don't think it matters which you use, just make sure it's all the same.

@tante
If you don't mind me asking..... how many did you manage to actually mine??
About 1400 to date. My little computers are getting almost nothing anymore, so I'm about to retire them. I was going to try to last until the 25th, LOL, but turned my desktop off yesterday. It's so slow when mining! I have two nodes, and some extra I hope to pay some debt down with if it goes up a little higher. I have until the end of June to hold Bloody hell. I only got half of that, but I only started a few days before the miner whale (not a small whale....a big miner). If only he hadn't turned up.... I stopped mining when it fell to about 7/8 a day. Oh why oh why? I could list another half dozen if onlys but at least I concentrated on buying at the time. You talking about the legendary whale of old that caused DGW to be created? yep, thats him. b@stard. I think he made the coin better and stronger, personally.

Me neither. I assume the 100DRK limit will also be lifted at some point - perhaps mention should be made of that? Perhaps here: "Following the completion of RC3, experts will be engaged to inspect the DarkSend code and, once confirmed, DarkSend will become open source and the 1000 DRK limit will be removed." - or words to that effect, assuming my assumption is correct.
