Is mining profitable for you?  I will be compiling answers for an article.

Please send feedback to my site with the following format:

Example...
Nickname   : Judge Crypto
Coin(s)      : Dogecoin (DOGE)
Hash/Coins : 10Mhash/ 20coins / Day
Comment   : I still mine for fun but it is no longer profitable.

*** Even if your coin is PoS, do you mine your coin through a multipool?

implementing ring signatures will take considerable change to the codebase and it hasnt been implemented on a protocol other than cryptonote yet, so its questionable
Not in the least bit questionable, if you've been around long enough to know Evan.  He's amazingly fast coding, and the infrastructure of Darkcoin is incredibly useful.  Evan doesn't care if he has to throw code away and rewrite it a thousand times to get it perfect.
Pity he wasn't such a perfectionist at the launch. Smiley
Doing real work takes priority over pretty. Some people can't function without pretty. They need crutches and hand-holding. Sucks for them.

But can one be successful that way?  Cutting out the majority of the population?  And when DarkSend is improved beyond Cryptonote, and all cryptonote coins are still so far behind, what then?

I'm not saying the work of those coins isn't worthwhile, it is.  Each alt coin has shown things of value.  Things that work and things that don't.  One of the biggest things dogecoin has shown us is that community is #1 bar nothing.  Cutting out those "stupid" people who need to be "babied" with a functional graphic user interface style wallet will kill any coin.  Sorry.

Yup I have been mining MRO since zero hour too. I like that it is not a Bitcoin derivative, so it is a good hedge down the road. A lot of old school BTC folks are supporting it too and I like the development going on. Check out monero project github, a lot of activity going on there. There was some initial problem during launch there too because Thankful_For_Today was being adamant with a stupid name of a coin and forcefully trying to merge mine with the 80% shadowmined Bytecoin. The community guys took over and happy to see tft is also slowly coming on board.

Having said that, what is this pandher faggot trolling in this thread and giving MRO a bad name? Are all you Crypto India "maderchoads" assholes like this or you decided to be a fudge packer on your own?

Tante, please do not feed the trolls. You think you are "explaining" things to trolls but you are feeding them. Some days you come back and dig up very old posts and respond to them. You CANNOT change anyone.

At the prices I set everything at there is an estimated profit of $42 if all 75 are sold, which is the change between the cost and price.  I created them simply because I saw some interest and wanted one myself. Other than that I am a nobody, but if Evan would like the $42 to put towards development, I would have no issue driving the 15 miles to Phoenix to give it to him.

I cannot change the payment options as I do not control the site, just the campaign.

pandher, I can move more MRO in the blockchain than you ever can in your life. We can use smooth as an escrow if you are up for the challenge.

You have made several trolling posts here. Even if you were trying to make a point you have made it. I don't want DRK guys coming to our MRO thread and trolling/retaliating back. If you really have honest questions, read the DRK wiki and FAQ and or go to their forum and register and talk to guys there.

I am sure you have a linkedIn profile too. Connect with Evan and sort out your questions if you have any.

Ahahahahah I just saw that I received 3.1415(....) DRKs...

Finders of clues gets DRKs Grin

i really start to enjoy this show Smiley so Mr. X likes to play, follows our talk, he is most probably not an exchange.

And he is in a good mood, definitely, since we all know he started acquiring around 0.0014 Grin

If it's 90%+ sure now that he's a person and not a cold wallet, he definitely sees something in Darkcoin and has massive funds. Could be accumulation before a tremendously huge pump.

Let's make a test.
So if Mr X, if you are reading this can you make the next tranfer to your wallet with 69.6969 DRK?

If love playing..

First there's no point talking to a low life like you who doesnt even know how to talk to people, with the word you used above, you could easily have got into trouble in this part of the world. And talking about monero, i have sold more than you can dream of.

I am not trolling here, i just asked a question that why does the title say dark is the first anon coin when the bytecoin came out in 2012. Somebody mentioned monero so the debate about ring signatures started.
