So I've had another good read of the coindesk article and looked up prior articles by the author.

Basically, he is a bitcoin fan boy and hates alts.

He has written enough articles to know about mining. The article he wrote points to x11 as an innovative algo, and points to examples where the OP of each example actually gives credit to Evan or Darkcoin.

The telling aspect of the article is the start:

It was another strong week in the world of alternative digital currencies, as several coins saw impressive price gains...

We have a Bitcoin fan boy who picks out articles to write that ridicule alts, is aware that x11 has become popular, has evidently looked up price movements over the past week with Darkcoin trade volume being 2nd behind Bitcoin and so he decided to write something that writes out Darkcoin.

That only points to fear. Finally, a new currency racing up the charts that poses a legitimate threat to the Bitcoin fan boy and his rosy view of the world.

why don't you buy 26 drk instead of new power block

I would happily lend you 26 drk, so you could pay me back 30 with your masternode profits. Unfortunately this is your first post ever and I dont know if I can trust you. But you gave an idea to think about... since it is possible to run a masternode with a cold wallet I control... I could lend the difference to people that are a little short and charge an interest rate until they get their own 1000 drk. I will think about this.

Edit: That is what's cool about drk many ways to create an economy around it.

Hello Drk community.  Seems I may have made a large mistake.  I haven't kept up on the forum and I sent a number of Drk using what is now the old wallet.  After upgrading it shows the amount sent with zero confirmations after an hour or so.  Are the coins lost or will they eventually bounce back to the original wallet address?

Quite possibly. But raises interesting questions.

So the hosting company that accepts drk for example could offer master nodes as a service. People chip in as much as they could. Company get's drk for hosting (variable according to exchange rate) and takes a further % for the service. Contributors get % based on what they put in.

I upgraded to v0.9.3.4 and the coins are still subtracted from the total.  Client is fully synced.  Just wait then?
