The DRK market is a slaughterhouse right now (ever since mintpal nad cryptsy resumed trading after the fork) with a constantly increasing flow rate of blood.
But nobody (except the butchers) know when and where it ends. And it's probably a good time to pick up some slacks from these slaughters if you haven't bought in before but you want a piece.
But there is this problem with buying in at a bottom: you might never know where the true bottom is. But it's still better to buy in at the middle of a dipping than buying in at an all time high.
So, to sum it up: It's your business when and how much you buy. It must be your decision.
The sellers are butchering themselves. The smart money is just taking advantage of the mass suicide... Go ahead. Kill yourself with a fat roll of money in your pocket. Damn right I'm looting your corpse for it. Dumbass. Losers playing the victim, acting like smart people are victimizing them: "butchers" - I can't take your DRK if you aren't stupid enough to sell it... I raged on about it all day yesterday, still... There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

Devil's Advocate: doesn't it sound a but pumpish to say you've wanted to raise MN payments to 20% for a while, when it's never, ever been mentioned. It's crossed my mind that it should be done, but I've never said it out loud... Never saw you say so, either... This'll be new troll focus, so why not address it now? Actually I don't think it will cause any pump, but rather discourage mining, and cause less interest in the coin, as it is turning into a closed system, where only real profits will be made by big holders. IMO. 20% is excessive. My interest has waned. Pigs get slaughtered. As camosoul pointed out, block reward is already as low as it's going to get. The idea with going to 20% is to create stronger incentive to own MNs, take more coins out of circulation and drive the price up, which will benefit miners as well. |

I'm not very knowledgeable, but isn't it then a risk if many miners don't come and help the network? Or nothing worrying?
If a half leaves, the difficulty will drop, raising the profit and attracting new miners. It's a self adjusting system. |

It is very hard to keep a constructive dialog when we have these price swings, but lets make an effort. In summary: - The most important piece of news is that we will not need any more forks to complete Darksend, masternode payments. THIS IS HUGE.
- Darkcoin resilience to dumps proves to be unprecedented yet again. Newcomers should learn there are strong fundamentals in this coin.
- The Dev team will expand and the Community Team is organizing non development chores.
- Weak hands got replaced with stronger hands and we go on with a more solid group of holders.
- Buy in quick before is too late, this was a great opportunity and I hope some good people took advantage and joined the community.

Hi everyone, so I could not watch during the blood, I was not tough enough  But great news now, that did not take long. I was preparing for a week without looking for the price  But puh, as fast as the network got fucked up is was working again. Haha same! I am so glad I did not panic sell at 140 LOL. Darkcoin seriously is not just a pump and dump like any other coin! Fuck we were on sky news this week and many other news sources. Darkcoin has a real feature. And we dont need merchant adoption in masses. But it will be used private alot! |

Damn Im too greedy to set a lot of buy order lower than 0.013 because the sell order was so thin.
After Evan's post the panic buy is coming in and I missed the chance to get more cheap DRKs.
