What's with the shitty CLOAK stealing all of DRK's thunder? They literally cloned the shit and reskinned the wallet and are promising "full decentralization", of course ETA is unknown.

Can someone confirm this is the future of crypto? A bunch of sad clones? Are we fucked?

Pumpers just don't care. They need a new target to dump for making profit. It's really hard and required a lot of money to pump & dump DRK now. Check twitter of such pumpers groups. They're promoting shitcoins every day. Who lost money? Of course naive users. Who wins? The pumpers. It is clearly as daylight but a lot of people are just blind before greed.

With the caveat that I could be catastrophically wrong...

While RC4 is going to be "the big one" in terms of fundamentals and functionality, I think RC3 may surprise a lot of you. Why? Masternodes.

I don't see people sitting around and watching 80-100% ROI and thinking "Damn, sure would be nice." I also think a lot of people did their ROI projections incorrectly based on ~800 MNs at the last update, when in fact the correct number was about 20% of that. I think there will be a LOT fewer MNs at RC3 release than a lot of folks planned, which will skew ROI projections dramatically.

My prediction is .03 by the end of Friday and .04 - .05 by the end of the month. RC4 could easily bring us to .1. Here's hoping =)

P.S. Don't forget panic buying, too. I have little doubt that there is "big money" waiting in the wings that pulled out around .025 and is waiting to get back in at a 20-30% premium after a successful fork, only to find the price rapidly outstrip their expectations. People panicking to "get back in" after all the daytrading will likely drive the price higher as well.

Yet another speculative folly. I mean speculate all you want but come on kids, why not speculate in the quality names? Who wants any part of that vapor ware.

Darkcoin going to benefit from a flight to quality if we get a big win tomorrow with RC3

This is why the source code for DRK shouldn't be available to the general public. Maybe only partially.

While I generally agree with your trajectory I wonder about the timing. I suppose there is a lot of non-speculative money on the sidelines waiting to see if darkcoin can succeed after the last fork problems. If it can, it remains the premiere tier one anon coin. Perhaps "they" will want to give it a few days after implementation of RC3 to confirm the network is operating well.

If holders are setting their expectations too high for RC3 release rally, and it doesn't come immediately, we may actually see a bit of selling for a few days before the big money comes in. That would be just typical, reaction counter to expectations then catch traders wrong footed.

I will be satisfied once we have a minimum of 1000 MN. I wonder where the price will be at though.

CryptCoin was at 250k yesterday, now it's at 150k exactly as I predicted. Enjoy the pump and dump scam coins and put the profits into DRK for long term growth  Grin

Seriously, if i pump & dump darkcoin, you will said that darkcoin is a scam coin Huh

Ok you try to destroy cryptcoin because you are a bit egoïst and you missing the train, but it's not a good reason. Keep calm and stay fair.

You are just jealous because you invested into Vericoin and you missing cryptcoin  Roll Eyes your history said.

Guys there are many P&D coins and everyone is free to do what he wants. Only time and the quality of the coin will cause if the coin will survive and will be adopted by the market for a loooong time.

I will be satisfied once we have a minimum of 1000 MN. I wonder where the price will be at though.

Well remember to factor in corrections.

At 1000 MN, the payment per day will go down to around 0.5 DRK per day. At the same time, the price may have risen and be going through a correction from that rise.

So masternode operators will potentially see a simultaneous:

 - drop in revenue from 2 to 0.5 DRL per day due to overcrowding
 - drop in value of their MN due to market correction

This will in turn cause a correction to the masternode population as a load of them get their 1000 DRK out of their MN wallet and onto the market to be dumped. Then, following that correction, market price will bottom but masternode payments will have risen due to the pruning of the MN population.

Nothing disastrous - all part of Evan's economic machinery to allow the MN population to reach equilibrium - I'm just saying expect some turbulence across the board while all this stuff reaches equilibrium because people are buying masternodes based on the payouts NOW but those won't be the payouts once they and everyone else gets their nodes running.
