You were right, Darkcoin is digital cash !

Cash has serial numbers. Darkcoin is better than cash.

Darkcoin being dumped like there is not tommorow..this time i think lower than 0.005-6... we are going again to 10th place on marketcap....say goodbye!

how about that 145 BTC buy order @ 0.01 ? Wink

are you stupid or just acting like one? tell us Cheesy

what about someone dumping more than 300btc worth of dark??are you stupid or you act like one???the price will surge to 0.005 again...its a matter of time

You promise me, do you? I will buy at least 50-100BTC worth again if DRK's back to 0.005. Please don't disappoint me Cheesy

Don't worry.

Ultradar isn't exactly known for patience, optimism....

Let's see, that was August 15th at which point Darkcoin was trading at 0.005 to 0.0055 which was a 500% gain on the previous 5 month's valuation. Now it's trading at 0.01 which is a 200% gain on that valuation, all the time with improving fundamentals.

Most mainstream assets achieve "superstar' status if they deliver a 5% ROI on an annual basis. I don't know why traders bring the developers into the equation - short of driving up to people's houses and dump sacks of $500 bills on their front doorstep - they're doing exactly whats required.

What would you rather be in:

 - Ripple ? A debt brokering vehicle for banks
 - Litecoin ? Lost 75% of its value against Bitcoin in the last year while Darkcoin gained 500% ?
 - Bitshares ? Nice, but a business not a currency
 - Maidsafe ? A data storage platform
 - Dogue ? Nice, but a non-anoymous cultcoin
 - Stellar ? A one man attempt at crypto-rockstardom, ending in network outages and catastrophic forks
 - Paycon ? Bernie Madhoff for crypto-gullables
 - NxT ? Nice for assets, but......

The fact is that despite what Bitcoin's detractors say, and despite having been "out-teched" a hundred times over, monetary value trumps utility value in this game and Darkcoin is a pure, high-fidelity Bitcoin clone with one more essential monetary property - fungibility. Like gold, it can be melted down and recast as required so that the transaction is a pure exchange between the two contracting parties and no-one else.

So is this what you've amounted to? Hawking your bags here?

Further, there was nothing wrong with quoting what you said historically. After all, you said it. You may have changed your stance later, but history is history.

With respect oblox.

The quote no longer reflects my thinking. I search for a non-masternode paradigm.
Pls Tim.

It is distasteful to use my own word against me like this.

Are you supplying the answers?

Yes.

The reason Shadowcoin is a non-starter is because it doesn't make a distinction between monetary and utility value.

Over the last year, technology hasn't made a dent in Bitcoin's marketcap. It has continued to consolidate despite the advances that have been made by altcoins in all sorts of utility aspects - confirmation speed, functional diversity, contracts, asset based blockchains etc.

Of the 6 monetary properties, however - Portability, Divisibility, Durability, Scarecity, Fungiblibility and Un-consumability - Bitcoin is missing only 1: Fungibility.

Darkcoin does address this deficiency directly and it does so without mitigating its ability to inherit the rest of Bitcoin's monetary role by way of fully implementing the Bitcoin core code and protocol. That's why the 2-tier architecture is the right approach because otherwise you've got to re-invent the wheel twice and markets don't take too kindly to that as you've already discovered to your financial detriment.

Wait, so we should just be able to change history of what anyone has said. You're entitled to your own opinion about how you currently view things, but again, history is history. You said it. Smiley

Oh child_harold chilled the fuck down. Uff I enjoy the mad version a lot more.

In summary, the Intel Management Engine and its applications are a backdoor with total access to and control over the rest of the PC. The ME is a threat to freedom, security, and privacy, and the libreboot project strongly recommends avoiding it entirely. Since recent versions of it can’t be removed, this means avoiding all recent generations of Intel hardware. details https://libreboot.org/faq.html#intelme --- https://tehnoetic.com/laptops --- https://store.vikings.net/x200-ryf-certfied

Evan, please turn off enforcement.

No blocks found for 41 minutes in whole darkcoin network. MiningPoolHub is also suffering submitting new block.

If the main issue is the missing RPC (I guess so, you're running a pool  Smiley) you can add "disablesafemode=1" to your darkcoin.conf.

It doesn't change the fact that your daemon sees some issues in the blockchain, but at least it answers to RPC calls again.

Edit: seems drk.mn is stuck, current block is 220342

Hmmm, just pulled all my masternodes and they are on 220352. Must be just the explorers stalling out but they shouldn't be getting stuck.

Actually I added and removed that option at last fork error.

I added that option again and it seems ok temporarily.
Found block at 220350 according to http://explorer.darkcoin.io

Is it just normal fork and merging process currently?
