i think we just have to wait and see what other plans the dev team have in mind to put as services on top of the masternode network, dark messaging could be such
service or they could be focussing on other services ... thats not clear to me yet.

I just tried an InstantX wallet transfer from Computer 1 to Computer 2, the results for
6 confirmations in both machine's wallets:-

1 darkcoin sent from wallet 1 to wallet 2 = 2 minutes 0 seconds 65 hundredths.

1 darkcoin sent from wallet 2 to wallet 1 = 1 minute 27 seconds 37 hundredths.

Quick question, a while back Evan (at least, I think it was him) was talking about other interesting uses for the MN network. I'm sure a Tor like network was batted about, but not really heard much about it since. I know the more immediate road map has been released (2FA, MN binding etc), I think what Im getting at is the Tor-Idea still on the table?

drk will do the same way as bitcoin , but faster. Darkmarkets first, ...  

History tends to repeat itself! Agree with you. I recon lots of people and market places are not rushing into DRK due to ongoin extensive development as it requires constant update of  the wallets and also occasional 'gliches'.

i think we were still in the discussion phase with regards to Darktor when it was decided it was better to look at our core-processes first (taking a good look at Darksend mixing and developing InstantX further as new techn), basicly we were on a crossroad back then with limited developers available and decided to focus on Darksend & InstantX instead of researching, developing and implementing Darktor (which would take a lot of time).

I think Darktor is still on the table as any other service that can be placed on top of the masternode network but only the dev team can really answer that to be honest.

Great exercise.  Just to clarify for newcomers. The InstantX confirmation takes about 4 seconds, at that point the funds can't be double spend so they are 100% secure.

For the network an InstantX lock represents 5 confirmations, so in the case above Sub-Ether is waiting for one Proof of Work confirmation to complete 6 confirmations.  The best part is that at that point the funds can be spend again using a normal send transaction if needed.
