My masternodes have not been paid since the 24th.

20% of my nodes have received the last payment on 25th. 80% of the nodes have received after that. So from that sample I'd guess you have a some kind of a problem - maybe your node has went offline for a while when it was due or some other glitch?
Flare runs them and they have not been down from what i can tell. I check them everyday throughout the day and they have always been 100% active.

Yeah I have a masternode with the exact same same issue.

I also have the problem with master node payment.

Mine has been paid at 2015-02-28

Do we need to do anything? Or wait for the update?

It was fixed Saturday. Just wait for your next payment. All good!

Even no need to restart master node daemon?

No need to restart if it's running and showing up as active in https://drk.mn/

Hey people.
Setting up my masternode however on starting MN in wallet I'm getting

"not capable masternode: Could not connect to <ipaddyofmvps>"

Checked settings and looks ok - defo right IP addy  VPS is up and running and redone darkcoin conf setup on both vps and local pc.

Is this more likely to be a payment issue? Any ideas before I start again?

Your masternode might have banned your local wallet. Try this:
1) keep local wallet open
2) stop remote darkcoind (the one that is on vps)
3) remove peers.dat on vps
4) start remote darkcond and wait until it's live (gives you valid responses on getinfo or any other rpc command)
5) issue "masternode start" (or "masternode start-many" - depends on what guide you are following) from local wallet again

Thanks for that.  Unfortunately no joy. Getting same error on masternode start. It is though a wallet I had a masternode previously on (before I f*cked up and moved coins).
Any other suggestions people?
EDIT:  Will donate 5 dark to person who comes with solution! (Though I'm sure they'll donate to video fund !)

stop both local/remote
del peers.dat on both
use same wallet version on both
have synced both and start.

Most times when people have asked me about this particular error, it is due to the fact that there is no 1k vin. Did you send EXACTLY 1000DRK to the Masternode address? Any more, any less, it will not work.

Thanks Tao.  Pity your guide doesn't consider dip sh*ts like myself...

I did send. Though I could try again?  Would I have to generate new masternode key/addy or could I simply resend to MN addy?

Just send it to another address you control, and make sure to send EXACTLY 1000DRK back to your MN address.

"not capable masternode: Could not connect to <ipaddyofmvps>"

Verify that:

a) port 9999 is open for incoming and outgoing connections on the server where your hot Masternode is running.
b) port 9999 is not blocked by a local/desktop firewall on your (cold) wallet computer. If in doubt completely disable firewalls for testing.

If you can't connect to your VPS daemon then check your server firewall, make sure port 9999 is open to TCP traffic. Also make sure you have the correct lines in your darkcoin.conf at each end. Your darkcoin.conf files should *not* be identical for local and remote - double check everything!

We need approx $100,000 transaction volume per day to get most Exchanges interested, we're now doing that consistently recently and lately even two to three times that, the Exchanges will be taking note.

This is also the daily volume level that gets payment processors interested.

http://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/views/filter-non-mineable-and-premined

It's not understandable for me why most of the volume continues to be on Craptsy.

If we want to pay enough attention, we should take the most of the volume on BFX first (huge and very respected exchange).

Why we need 1000 drk for run a master node, it is a little expensive ( About 3.000 usd),  can someone explain me?

thanks

This was a good question that was overlooked.

The reason why you need 1000DRK is to protect the network from Sybil attacks. It is a strong deterrent from bad actors as it would be very expensive to control any meaningful percentage of the network.  It also means that the people that operate the network with their nodes have a strong motivation to support it.

At this point in time the Masternode network has established an extremely solid base of ~2250MN, from this point it will only get stronger as more people run nodes.
