If there is someone here who can defend dark on this particular point: Can we talk about this instant transaction thing. How does it supposedly work? In the world of crypto there are only 2 ways of doing transactions instantly. A trust based system or centralization. Has dark somehow over turned the metaphorical laws of gravity in the world of crypto or do they use one of those two. If they use one of those two what is the justification?
The masternodes lock the tx, even if a conflicting valid transaction gets mined they reject the block its in. This opens a nice sort of attack where you can split the network (i.e. isolating MNs from each other) You would be very welcome in our xmr vs drk discussion thread. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1001642 It's fair and open and moderator is only deleting obvious troll posts. Lol. Another one? Sorry but I'll pass on that xmr PR thread. If you want to know about drk ask around on darkcointalk or check the github repository.

Tell those attention whores that they can go fuck themselves What? Why? This is an important discussion that needs to be had and darkcoin needs representation from people capable of addressing some of the finer points. Important discussion? Where? There? We can have it on our forum, soon to be dashtalk

Its only an xmr pr thread because no one has come forward to competently defend your position. The moment someone does this, assuming your position has merit, than it could very easily be transformed into a dark pr thread. The point is to have open troll free discussion from both sides, im here as an emissary because we are distinctly lacking in the dark representative department. But there certainly is no lock, no means of filtering dark representatives out, its yours for the taking if you can take it.

Just had a good chuckle over this bullshit: - Darksend: a poor implementation of CoinJoin. To quote the actual inventor of CoinJoin (gmaxwell) on the topic of Darkcoin: " That other stuff was initially "hey this coinjoin stuff is great, we put it in an altcoin!" to which my result was "hey, idiots, the whole point of coinjoin was that it already worked in bitcoin. If you're talking about something incompatible there are much better approaches" ... and they've since gone off to do other things, but uh.. seemingly without a lot of thought in advance." - InstantX: a clone of the GreenAddress instant Bitcoin transaction system, or more accurately a clone of Natanael L's " Secure zero-confirmation payments using temporary notarized P2SH multi signature wallets". - Sporks: turns the Bitcoin alert key system into a remote kill switch that one person can use to disrupt the network at will. Awesome. This guy once again proves he's too retarded to do basic research. Not only did we catch him lying on reddit, after claiming that the darkcoin-client didn't compile because of a developer's error, instead of the truth: a user error. No, now he's claiming CoinJoin is still what's being used to power DarkSend when DarkSend is several orders of magnitude more sophisticated than the original idea. Regarding InstantX: Wow, that's all he could come up with? Impressive. NOT: I actually read the article and the suggestion uses "TRUSTED" parties, nothing could be further from how InstantX is working. Intentionally misleading. It looks like he desperately looked for anything remotely similar preceding InstantX and this poorly half baked bullshit idea from a random crypto enthusiast is the culmination of his hard research. Good job working in your own stuck project, you sad little sap. CraptoNote is all you had because DarkSend was closed source and you dare to call InstantX a "clone"? You pathetic late-coming losers! Sporks: Yeah, actually no. Evan spoke to that and calling it a "kill switch" is another desperate attempt to smear the trillion times more successful project he hates so much. It's a tool fixing another flaw of Bitcoin, but jealousy over how he didn't have the idea earlier won't let him see it. Moanero - Proving itself to be the disgrace of all Crypto since April 2014

Tell those attention whores that they can go fuck themselves What? Why? This is an important discussion that needs to be had and darkcoin needs representation from people capable of addressing some of the finer points. The energy needed to produce the keystrokes needed to reply by DASHers in that thread would be a complete waste. There is no DRK vs XMR, that's like saying the New York Yankees vs my beer league team, Manchester United against my daughter's soccer team, The US dream basketball team against Lichtenstein, need I go on. There is no DRK vs XMR, we're not in the same league. DRK is a well rounded, highly technical crypto with countless innovations past, present, and future, with a Dev team that actually works, and XMR is a privacy oriented coin with a dev team that has a penchant for trolling rather than working on actual tech. There is no DRK vs XMR, the markets decided that as well. Why would we waste the keystrokes?

They are too chicken to defend their cult practices outside of their echo-chamber rah-rah high-fiving thread. An intelligent and honest debate with moderation instead of disbeliever shunning and personal attacks is their worst nightmare. Do you really expect them to justify this: DARKSCAM_INSTAMINE.JPG in a critical no-nonsense no-handwaving environment? Ha! Ya, right. As if.
