smooth- you are wasting your time- you won't convince anybody here.
You are right. He should be coding so you can have your "golden donkey" too. Karma is a bitch Mr. Farfiman. Good luck on your endeavors.

I'm only interested in discussing the Dash instamine, Dash technology, actions of the Dash foundation or developers or leadership or community, or Dash prospects for the future, etc. on this thread.
My suggestion...is stop discussing and focusing on us and start developing your coin. It needs alot of help...its not complete. What is very cool...our paid developers are coding right now on the evolution release and not wasting time here or on your thread...I would SERIOUSLY be concerned that your coins stalled development is in trouble by comparison. You can engage us all day long...as I'm not a developer as aren't many of the individuals your engaging with here...aren't the developers, so our time is disposable. Can you afford to be wasting time? Again....time better served working on your own currency, unless your short of developers and funds to move forward. The strategy of your members to plant doubt in the crypto space about us is very armature. Like passing stapled pamphlets at a convention....lame! But to each their own. I just want us all to move on...

Good morning Mr. White. I certainly don't need to justify anything....though I'm interested in what your investing/holding or using to do commerce with. Using your sense of morality as you claim, what passes as meeting this most high bar of excellence? Good morning Is a little honesty about the instamine too much to ask? Look on the right - "0.00000000% pre-mined". That's an unbelievably brazen and deceptive statement considering the 500,000 coins that were mined in the first hour and 1.5 million in the first 8 hours So now that the DASH team have removed "No premine" from their Bitcointalk Announcement thread, when can we expect a clarification on this point on the Bitcointalk thread, not to mention the Media stories and Press Releases about DASH which still aren't disclosing anything about the instamine. The instamine happened. Period. Now...my question: I'm interested in what your investing/holding or using to do commerce with. Using your sense of morality as you claim, what passes as meeting this most high bar of excellence? "The instamine happened" - this is your response? Yeah it did, and meanwhile eduffield is advertising "0.000000000% premine" From reddit: "Evan has said that it was accidental, but the fishy thing about that is that the coin had already been rebooted once on that day. An accident of 1.8 million coins (1.5 million in the first 8 hours) seems like a really good reason to reboot" Not to eduffield! The instamine later allowed him to hire himself as full-time lead developer. What a fortunate "accident"! What's most shocking is how eduffield continues to claim the instamine wasn't intentional despite the mountain of damning evidence to the contrary. He actually thinks he will get away with this?

Smooth...don't twist what I'm saying. I told you I agree with you on Bitcoin. It is miles ahead of all alts for adoption and I agree having Bitcoin as a strong central crypto for trade is a good thing. What I was referring to is your insistent bashing of our currancy. You know exactly what you are doing and you are baiting people on here with your strategy of fudding and trolling. everyone knows about the instamine here...and other then a bunch of us crypto nerds hanging out in these forums it means NOTHING. We, the alt coin community, are looking like a bunch of clowns. So...I'm done responding to you and your cronies now very obvious strategy of trolling us and going to talk about something more productive. I've given you ample chances to prove you are above the fray...you've continually disappointed. I feel very sad for crypto....sad indeed.

I likewise believe that as long as coins like Dash exist and don't uphold the highest standard of transparency, fairness, and ethics, that will be used to attack crypto generally, setting back the movement overall, rather than helping it. If people even know about coins other than Bitcoin (and possibly Litecoin, maybe Ethereum now), most of what they've heard is that they are a bunch of pump-and-dump premine, instamine, etc. scams and they want nothing to do with it. Dash does not help that cause at all
Hiding behind a bunch of renames and then editing the original parameters and renames out of the OP are not going to fix this problem.
Just out of curiosity: Do you have any specific demands as to what should be changed in Dash so that you can make your peace with it, or is it more a situation where you won't rest until Evan publicly commits seppuku? I'm asking because your post is actually quite vague. I there were any concrete demands, we could at least have a useful conversation

Why do you insist it's Dash's responsibility to change whether people view Bitcoin as ponzi or not? Dash has enough transparency. If you're demanding to know how much each dev owns for example then sorry, I'm afraid it's not gonna happen. Fairness - very subjective. Life is not fair. Miss the lunch and you miss the lunch. Don't buy cheap and miss the profits. There's always someone to complain about something. Highest standard of ethics - is that standard defined by you? Hiding behind a bunch of renames and then editing the original parameters and renames out of the OP are not going to fix this problem.
There's only so much that an OP can contain, and if a project has developments happening it becomes impossible to drag the whole history in that one post while keeping it up to date. It's entirely possible it's not always about "hiding" something.

His only demand is Evan travelling back in time, un-invent Dash and never be heard from again, so Failero can enjoy its 15 minutes in the sun. He hates the fact that it exists, that's his only problem. Incentivized nodes, InstantX, X11, Dark Gravity Wave, Fork-proof network, Self-sufficient development, Decentralized Governance. God damnit, that's just too much innovation to handle if your own little backroom hobby project doesn't even have a shitty GUI. Acting "concerned" about "poor investors" just doesn't cut it credibility-wise, though.

Talking about suicide is really hyperbolic. People need to keep things in perspective. We're talking about a tiny little toy coin compared to Bitcoin which is itself a tiny little toy coin compared to the fiat financial system. Let's not get some exaggerated sense of what is at stake here. At this point I don't know that there is anything Dash can do. The cryptocoin community just needs to move on to coins that don't have it's baggage, which in time I'm confident will happen, just as the Bitcoin community moved on from most of the worst scams and frauds. If you have constructive suggestions though other than "the instamine happened, get over it", or "we'll just delete everything from the OP and make believe it never happened", both of which I truly do not believe is ever going to work, I'm open to hearing them.

And there, ladies and gentleman, you have it. The money-quote we've all been waiting for. Thanks for playing now get the fuck out and never post in this ANN again. Because that is the only conclusion you can draw from your own words. If you want to maintain any illusions of integrity to your name, you must never post in here again, since you firmly believe that DASH will die on its own anyway. No need to for you to point out any of its "flaws" then any more, right? Unless you doubt your own words that is... So: One more farewell post or more insecure trolling? Which is it?

Dash has enough transparency. If you're demanding to know how much each dev owns for example then sorry, I'm afraid it's not gonna happen.
Fairness - very subjective. Life is not fair. Miss the lunch and you miss the lunch. Don't buy cheap and miss the profits. There's always someone to complain about something.
Highest standard of ethics - is that standard defined by you?
Look if you want to deny the issue exists and personalize it as being all about this insignificant smooth guy (or some even smaller coin Monero), that's your prerogative. But the fact is that people who look at Dash see a massive instamine scam as one of the defining characteristics. That devtome investigation had nothing to do with me or Monero (or to my knowledge AdamWhite, etc.). Several of the threads about the instamine had nothing to do with Monero (some predate it). If you talk to people in the crypto community who have nothing to do with either coin if they've heard of it, they are well aware of the "darkcoin instamine" and think it is very shady and a holdover from the worst era of altcoin scams, whether you illodin, think so or not, and whether that is even fair or not. There is no way the stigma is ever going away. All that pushing this project is doing now is making crypto look bad. There is talent in this project, sure, but it's being wasted on a coin that is essentially a dead end beyond the small altcoin world.

Sincere criticism is not trolling. There may be nothing Dash can do to erase its disastrous history, and that ultimately will likely lead to its demise, but there are things it can do now to avoid making matters even worse, which include not trying to hide the disastrous history.
