Kind of a slow day as far as trading, it seems.

Today's not our day. The hype is on cryptos for specific countries/populations. 800% on mazacoin ... everyone wants in on the hype.

I'd like to thank eduffield and the other developers for this critically important evolution in virtual currency. DarkCoin is what bitcoin should have been. Some might call it "Bitcoin 2.0" but would do better by saying: "DarkCoin is digital cash." - Child Harold - February 28, 2014

I'm glad. Rapid price increases would only make me worried. Anyone planning to hold for the long term should only worry about the amount of coins they hold at the moment... and of course the progress of the community around the coin.

I think Monero (XMR) is very interesting.

I was thinking about how i'd use Darkcoin in the future, and realized that i'd probably use 2 wallets -
one being a -
* DarkWallet - the main cold-storage wallet [constant address] where I store my coins/value;
and the second being a-
* GreyWallet - a casual hot-storage wallet [with changing addresses] to which I can transfers coins, for everyday use/payment without revealing how much I own, who I paid in the past, etc....

Right now, people use the terms 'hot wallet' and 'cold wallet' to distinguish between online and offline, but anonymity brings something new to the game.
Perhaps the Darkcoin devs can brand/copyleft these terms (i.e. DarkWallet & GreyWallet), in addition to Darksend. I think it will help Darkcoin position itself as something with unique value and traits.

no its not going back its just like the orderbook shown is ooooold ! (and yes getting forth/back all the time) ... the api has the same problem, but if you try to buy you wont get them, so i hope its just a display error !

looks like the problem is in other markets, too (auroracoin for example) the orderbook is switching there, too ...

but nothing to read about it at cryptsy twitter Sad

is there an official cryptsy thread? (search for cryptsy just turned back so many results)

If someone's having a good rapport with coindesk, a article about darkcoin would be well enough.

Maybe someone is intentionally pushing the price down to buy in before a pump like yesterday.

i rather guess its a good time - because bots just react crazy on that false orderbooks/history - if you know how, you could surely profit from this situation ...

I think it'd be really cool if a feature was built in to the DarkCoin Wallet to easily allow people to DarkSend money other addresses that they own. Just for people who want to mix their coins about between multiple addresses before sending it to a destination. This would increase the amount of DarkSend's too Smiley.

Any posts from me that were posted in Russian were NOT from me. A cykablyat obtained my forum login details when they were leaked, I was inactive from the forum at that time.

They seem to have gotten it sorted out now.

The problem was that you couldn't tell what the actual asks or puts were, plus the fact that the transaction histories were screwed up so you couldn't tell what things were trading for in reality.  I thought I bought a bunch of DRK at .00145 and it turned out to be almost .0016 lol.  Kinda pissed me off.
