Timeline Update

At this point we are comfortable setting a firm release date for RC3. Release dates for versions beyond that will be updated as circumstances dictate and as development progresses.

RC3 (June 18th): Fully implemented Masternode payments (20% of each block), automatic checkpointing, fixes for network forking issues
RC4 (Mid July): Improved anonymity and removal of 10 DRK Darksend limitation
Code Audit: We will release details on this as they become available
RC5: Address any security issues or major bugs discovered in the audit

Looks to me like we made a reversal pattern and the downtrend is now over, (we are above the 8-21 EMA and creeping up over the 50 EMA on the hourly)
So it is ALL ABOAAARRDD

Edit: erased my bitcoin fanboyism that was here, apparently it is a touchy topic.

Buy orders really strong on mp and the downtrend seems to have reversed. If it keeps up like this I'll buy back in soon.

Still, I thought more about Mikes warning...

Here are a couple of charts, one is the bitcoin chart, the other is darkcoin. I can see how it's reasonable to think that the darkcoin chart will end up following a pattern similar to bitcoin as I have marked. According to the pattern we should test .01 again, maybe a couple of times like Mike said. Just like bitcoin tested 400 several times before it started its most recent climb.

I still doubt it though. I think we are done going down. But the analysis is reasonable in my opinion, and I can't say I'll be too surprised if it ends up like this.

I've marked the lines on them... the bitcoin chart has the line at $400 and the DRK chart has the line at .01

Anyone know how to mine X11 with a R6 270X?

It keeps locking up Windows and Linux after mining for a few hours.

sry just makes no sense
you cant really compare BTC/USD with DKR/BTC it does not make any kind of sense.. also 1200usd ATH compared with 15usd ATH is also silly to compare against each other

I think we are done going down

Good luck with that one.

If I thought that going up on 0.53804 DRK and 2.02 DRK and 0.1611 DRK placed as on order book bids as opposed to 2000 DRK and 5000 DRK and 7000 DRK coming from off order book (which is what happened when we were back at 0.005) counts as "done going down" then I'd be buying back in as well.

1. DarkGravityWave release
2. Mutlipool which pays out in Darkcoin
3. Come out of DarkSend beta
4. Hackfest to try and break Darksend (zerocash will probably lead the charge)
5. Dark Wallet to confirm they are officially giving up
6. GMaxwell to acknowledge DarkSend is looking pretty close to e-cash vs. Bitcoin
7. Satoshi to move some $100m of coins through DarkSend, maybe just $1 would do it
8. Media to go to town on rights and wrongs of DarkCoin, privacy, e-cash, etc.

Only one thing left

So I have a better than average idea who Satoshi is, but that's as far as it goes...his secret it safe with me. So I guess moving a few Bitcoins from the genesis blocks through to darkcoin just ain't gonna happen....close but no cigar on that one....we will just have to live with those 0.3 BTC / DRK prices.

... worlds worst ever artistic impression of a stegasaurus, or possibly the Loch Ness Monster ...

You need to consult Chapter 7 of "Rape Yourself! Day Trading For The Fuller Figure" - it gives handy tips on arbitrary line placement, remembering to present graphs that look even vaguely alike (colour scheme similarity does not qualify!) and Intermediate Paint Skills.

Good luck!  Cheesy

Movements from his stash ---> Darkcoin. If it's after the RC4 the probability will be higher Cheesy

mostlikely caused by these awesome news that are in the post here above, REALLY !! THE Greg Maxwell Will review the code ... (should have posted a rocket instead of the train Tongue )
It's good he's agreed to look at the code, but posting rockets over it is a bit much as he's one of the biggest Darkcoin skeptics. Just read his posts in that thread.

He's also complained about his name being used to promote Darkcoin, so splashing his name around lots might not be for the best.

Thanks for the input. It seems to be a classic chart pattern, using the bitcoin chart was an example I'm sure I could find a lot more.

Trying to understand... are you saying there is not enough volume pushing the price up at the moment for it to be considered an indication of a real reversal back up? I guess I was thinking the price could rise even with low buyer volume if the sellers are holding out.

By done going down... I meant done with this downtrend, and that a floor will be defined around the level we are now. I'm still holding off for a more clear indication of what will happen before I buy back.

Anyway, thanks for the feedback. I need all the luck I can get as you can see lol.
