It's been a habitude of mine to buy and hold altcoins at the beginning, when they are very cheap. I have had nice profits already Wink

You just reminded me that I still have ~15 XPM which I mined with the small CPU of my GPU rig back in december for fun. So, I checked it now: it's price went down to ~1/8 an continues to decay. LOL. Tongue
Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Ok that's it, i just put a 30btc buy order on mintpal, this is the bottom price

I don't have as much as you but I put 3 BTC too. Tell me where do you put it so I could put a level higher then.  Grin

I believe he bought already as this is the bottom price

Ah ok. That's explain why it suddenly goes up from 0.013 to 0.014. Now is dropping again. Damn I have bought from 0.024 to 0.014 already. I don't think I will make a loss but now predicting the bottom is very difficult. I just want to have many DRKs as possible. Sorry for my greed guys.  Grin

Anyone could give an helpful advice?
Thanks in advance.

sell everything and buy back later, we are going below 10mbtc.

No problem, but I wouldn't listen to darlidada, far to risky!

This is a good signal the product is not rushed by the dev team just to satisfy the short term. They think about the long term.

+1

Lemmings are going to be eaten by killer whales.

This is being done properly, better a delay now than the false bullshit promises most coins are making.

buying and mining time.

It's an opportunity for new people to buy in, which is a good thing Cheesy

That little sharp corner at 0.0133 was a good place to load up.

10 seconds later, you're catapulted straight into the mid 14's.

Note: If your wallet fails to update to the latest block, carefully do the following:

0. just a reminder: backup your wallet.dat (regularly do this)
1. make sure that your DarkCoin.app resides in your Applications folder and is closed
2. delete peers.dat and remove all addnode= entries from your darkcoin.conf (if you have one)
3. fire up Terminal.app and paste this to reindex the Blockchain:
Code:
/Applications/DarkCoin-Qt.app/Contents/MacOS/DarkCoin-Qt -reindex
-- voilà, it syncs to the latest block.

Also in the mean time that DRK has it's downtrend for the next 3 weeks due to delays etc, it's daily volume has been utterly eclipsed by VeriCoins 3000+ daily volume BTC on MintPal, if the VRC volume continues for the coming weeks, DRK could have a serious problem attracting that money back into DRK once it's mostly in VRC which is early in its growth phase, traders and train missers simply go where the highest perceived growth and volume  etc. is.

Until Vericoin's volume reaches its limit and begins to die down, and the swarm of moths fly to the next brightest flame.

I have a bunch of documents for QA.  Maybe we can go ISO 9001  Grin

every financial institution would be able to accept DRK as part of its development plans because there is a documented QA process. Auditing would be straightforward.

Might have to put my thinking cap on to see how that could work with a decentralised currency. Never been done before.

also time to start thinking of attracting future users. Volume will come to drk whenever there is drama but once all the major releases are out we need to be extending out into the "real" world and you making it work like ecash.

The dark web may help enormously with adoption for actual use. But I think by the time we're fully up and running, and open sourced, we won't have to work too hard to convince 'normal' people of the benefits of ecash.
