Respectable master(node) owner urgently looking for hard-working servant (village idiot) please apply within. No wips have ever been used on our slaves only prober rude treatment to let em know who is master

This system is so badly flawed its not funny.
Having one single note running is like solo mining and others with 50 or more notes sit in a massive pool and take the cream of the top
Back in the instamine days the reward for miners was 100% payout of the 500, now the miners get 80% of the left over scrap 5

I agree with this.

Why are people going to continue mining an already unprofitable coin when they have to give another 20% to someone holding possibly tens of thousands of coins?

I think it was mentioned, in the discussion between evan/anonymint that by darksending it multiple times through a number of nodes it reduces the bad-actor probabilities to a statistically safe degree to solve the issue that the darksend node knows who sends what.
I think I have a better solution than that, I want to turn the masternodes into I2P relays for darkcoin. So your client will pick one when you start, then relay any messages through that one. It encrypts all of the traffic, removes the connection between IP and address and it the blockchain is still a complete fog. Plus it'll be a private I2P, so it'll be super fast. Masternodes are going to be awesome  Grin
Oh yeah, very nice!
The masternodes could also be made to host distributed currency exchange for DRK and other web platforms.... ??
if so this is awsome..
Yes! This  Cool
Very nice!
This is why they are called MasterNodes and not DarkSendNodes. DarkSend is just the first service they provide.

They could host bloated blockchain that nobody wants to host (as mentioned in previous posts, BTC is experiencing blockchain consolidation because of huge blockchain causing people to switch to lite clients, no incentive to host it). Blockchain not found? No payments for you!

They could incentivise TOR/I2P pipe. Give X bandwidth to Bridge/Relay/Exit Node or no payment for you!

They could do stuff I haven't even thought of yet...

Not to mention, getting the foundation for DarkSend working is needed before DarkSend can be made more interesting... A scupltor who works in clay can't do much sculpting if he has no clay... Where would Salvador Dali be if paint had never been invented?

Once they're working, the foundation is laid. Feature adds won't be hard at that point.

Why do you assume that they must be different people?

Masternode holders ARE ALSO the most active darkcoin miners.
Even if mining alone is not profitable.... why should a masternode holder not also be a miner himself?

Suddenly makes the whole endeavour seem VERY profitable, doesn't it?

I am the dumbest troll ever. All I did was make it obvious that I'm a troll and negated the very false-premise I was trying to troll with. Nobody even has to debunk me now, I did it myself...
Obvious troll was a little too obvious...

I personally do not believe man ever stepped on the moon... totally different conversation there... but my analogy-question still stands.
How many rockets exploded before 1 man sat in the cockpit?

FLAWED ?? Hey, I'm getting payed on my nodes. I send Darksend. What is flawed here? True innovation? Breaking barriers? Omelettes without egg-breaking? A truly innovative concept with a truly gifted Dev, that everyone and their granny is desperately trying to copy?

Get serious! We are brave sailors in uncharted waters.

Quote
oh oh oh oh booo. its cloooooooossed-source

So is my granny's barbacue sauce. Deal with it.

Then one day she released the recipe, and everyone was in awe at how simple it was. True genius. Here, educate yourself

I'm on so many ignore lists, by design... ;-) I want the foolish to ignore me, thus they will keep on getting what they deserve.

Maybe I'm just a meanie-head poopy-face like that... I want people who are violently stupid and make life harder on everyone by being the fools that they are to live a long, long, miserable existence. They can't suffer if they're dead.

Please, losers, keep ignoring me! ;-)

You are pretty funny.  Changing peoples posts when you quote them.

You think you're pretty clever don't you?

I would engage in your pathetic childish behavior but since you are basically a nobody I'll let you continue on with your ignorance and sickening attacks on others.

It must really suck to be you.  But hey, you're a big Darkcoin holder.  Whoop dee doo.

I don't ignore you.  I find your posts to be some of the best comedy around.  Then there is the fact that when things are not going my way I can always be thankful that I am fortunate not to be you.

I'm done so go ahead and get another one of your stupid digs in and let me laugh some more.

Based on your post history, you're invested in coins that are basically DOA. I highly doubt that you're doing better than Camosoul. Certainly not in the cognition department.

I don't force decent people to read your garbage twice. It's not funny. It's respectable. Unlike you.
You think you're pretty clever don't you?
No. It's easy and save people from ahving to read your stupid shit twice. And now I've said it twice. Think you can figure it out?
I would engage in your pathetic childish behavior
That's all you've ever done. You enforce your own point against yourself, and still haven't put a dent in me...

Actually, it's great to be me. I'm fuckin' awesome. Smart people follow my lead and are happy that they did. Really smart people don't have to follow my lead because they're already on the same path.
But hey, you're a big Darkcoin holder.  Whoop dee doo.
What has that got to do with anything? Do you even know what your own words mean?

Not vulgar, but nowhere near gratuitous enough... ;-) If it doesn't make Feminazis immediately resort to physical violence, I'm not happy...

The logo should be involved, not merely present...

I prefer Brunettes (any race) that look like they spend 8 hours a day at the gym and are not afraid of what Feminazis might say about implants. ;-)

Has anyone looked at Vitalik Buterin's recent article on Bitcoin centralization? Might be worth considering some of his suggestions. One of his solutions to asics was to use a pool of about 1000 algorithms that would randomly switch. With such an implementation, designing an asic would be rendered impractical.
