Why are we discussing XC here? Can we stay on topic? Glad DRK is going open source soon and all this will be over. Because we are in this thread. Should we discuss the XC venom in the fucking Microsoft thread? IMO, the line was crossed when placing Darkcoin in official PR material. I have been very restrained. But it's hard. I'm trying, but it's really, really hard. XC impotence is not a Darkcoin problem. However they try to ascribe their issue on Darkcoin. That's not right. |

Anyone not looking at the larger picture is missing what could be one of the greatest investment opportunities since those that took a shot at BTC in the beginning.
I was homeless when I bought BTC for under $5/coin. I sold those to buy DRK. Now, I'm considering a driveway full of Teslas... |

In most cases, I haven't even bothered to research other coins. I researched Evan. I researched other devs, on the occasion it was even possible... My money is all still on DRK. I have tried as well to send three private transactions and all failed, 2 of 10 xcs and 1 of 1 xc.
im in latest version port is open and 1 checked box in coin control...I got just one transaction in this wallet anyway so there was just one imput already.
Is it possible that if there is none forwarding private transactions while im doing it, with this revision, the transaction does not go trough the Xmixers anyway?
+1 I've tried various amounts to various different addresses. says searching then failed. Only difference is I haven't adjusted anything in coin control yet. But it's a coinjoin killah! Seriously, I tried the wallet back at 2.47h and it didn't work. In Dan's defense, he tried to webex to figure it out but with 4 (or was it 5) attempts and no dice, I got out. DRK works and I have verified that it works. Even at 2 rounds I wasn't able to detect the original sending address even knowing where the funds originally came from. Bugs are squashed promptly and there is too much good news on the pipeline to even think about selling--Atlas' code review verdict, instant transactions, open source, foundation mandates, electrum wallet and other mobile wallets, etc, etc The biggest thing DRK's supporters wanted was that the source was clean and that the privacy features work. Anyone not looking at the larger picture is missing what could be one of the greatest investment opportunities since those that took a shot at BTC in the beginning. It has been a long and bumpy road but looking back at all the changes and where we are at today, DRK has accomplished a lot in 8 months. +150 (soon to be +10) |

Thank you for the support. I have come to realization that we are woefully underepresented on twitter. I have begun my #getintothedark initiative with some links to current issues, and touting Darkcoin's advances. My twitter handle is @TaoOfSatoshi. I'm trying, but it's really, really hard. DRK is the anon industry leader... so mentions are inevitable from all would-be DRKs.... And when you are the industry leader you'll probably mention your biggest rival or future threat. XC at least has some dev that actually codes something, and that's why it hasn't got down to zero compared to other pumps and dumps, most with anonymous devs of dubious credentials, that spiked and were annihilated later on. Competition is good in this space, as is the exchange of ideas. Perhaps when XC has something good to offer we can "borrow" some concept too... In my view the greatest potential to get ideas is in things related to network anonymity, rather than protocol anonymity, as Dan's background is heavier in networks. In general this has been a somewhat weird day in anonland... -DRK up, -XC mentions DRK and then has issues of its own, -XMR has a DOA-moment due to BCX claiming a coin-killer issue, after BCX was trolled by a Monero fan and BCX took it upon him to prove a point... |
