Could it not be someone moving coins from one account to another under their (hacked or legit) ownership?
If someone wanted to use an exchange to "move" coins from one account to another, they could simply deposit, wait, then withdraw different amounts to a new address. No need to buy/sell. Some other explanation.

If we are gonna do Crowd Fund, I suggest doing it for UdjinM6.
I kind of disagree on that too... Not that I dont the devs to be compensated for their tremendous hard work, but they are doing it regardless of funds. Right now we need to allocate funds to parts of DRK where there is no development going (f.ex: a kick ass dark PR video). And for that, I'd trust fernando and the up and coming Dark Foundation Yes, I agree that PR video is important but Darkcoin devs like flare and now UdjinM6 (as well as staff) are not living on oxygen alone Guys, thanks everyone for welcoming me as a dev! I'll try to be helpful to Darkcoin! And btw I'm pretty fine getting small decentralized tips here and there no need to crowdfund me in centralized way really However I like the idea of croudfunding itself. I just think we could donate in that way not to a single person/dev but to some project/goal that is valuable for Darkcoin: Kristov Atlas review, elberethzone MN monitoring service and so on. Any idea what could be crowdfunded next?

Any idea what could be crowdfunded next? Mandatory use of p2pool. Darkcoin is not currently a decentralised currency, neither are most PoW coins. Pin number or passphrase required before the wallet displays your balance and transaction history to any passing vagabond.

Video !!! A kick-ass, 1.5 - 3 minutes video!! I vote for a crowd funded video that explains perfectly what DRK is all about! Like this, which was exactly what made me take BTC seriously when i first saw it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Um63OQz3bjo&spfreload=10

What has to happen to make this a reality?

I like that idea. here was my proposal back in April, didnt get much attention though... trolljaxs can choke on this. https://darkcointalk.org/threads/masternode-donation-to-p2pool.326/

I cannot find any logical explanation for bots. The mere acceptance of their use makes not trust that exchange at all. How on earth can any serious platform accept bot'ing? What is that? Whatever it is seems to be continuing... Another 1143drk went through 18:00. Can't figure out whether it's automated or not... Maybe it's two individuals who wish to exchange DRK for goods/services and are using it as a kind of escrow service? I can't think of a rational explanation other than that! Walter

Existing centralised pool owners could run p2pool nodes instead, use the same hardware, make the same percentage, just run different software that actually helped secure the blockchain instead of doing the opposite.

Hopefully it is just a fat finger! Either way it's not affecting the price so it'll be interesting to see how long it goes on for... Edit: wish I had some coin on Cryptsy just so i could try buy/sell into it and disrupt the trade...!

I'm not a trader, and I've been watching those graphs real time before wondering what does those colors red and green mean? Sometimes a green bar starts rising as I suppose people are buying and buying, and all of a sudden it turns to red.

Sometimes a green bar starts rising as I suppose people are buying and buying, and all of a sudden it turns to red. If price is higher than it was at the start of the candle (5m, 15m, 3h, whatever interval you choose), candle will be green, if it is lower, will be red. Signifies which way the price moved during that bar (candle) interval. In other words, if close is greater than open, green, if close is less than open, red. http://stockcharts.com/school/doku.php?id=chart_school:chart_analysis:introduction_to_candlesticksHope that helps.

Hope that helps.
I meant the bars in the middle row. Or do they determine their color the same way as the candlestick graphs bars? sorry, i honestly thought you were making a joke there.
Yes I know how the candle sticks work, just didn't realize the middle row bar colors work the same way. Somehow I thought they'd represent sells (red) vs buys (green), but I guess not?
