Hi vlad2vlad,

What would you recommend as the 'max' amount of coins?

The current setup is 47,433,600.

Paul.

Looking at other successful coins I think we should keep it well under 21 million.

Cut the subsidy so we're bleeding under 150,000 coins per month rather than 1 million and that will allow us to continue PoW for years while also maintaining PoS which is another feature people seem to like right now.

Personally, looking at coins like NAUT and a few others, I would say cut the max as close to 10 million as possible, but I'm not sure if that's possible given we're probably close to 6 million right now.

Remember, the formula for Currency value is simple and straight forward:  Price = Transaction Volume/Velocity + 1/Supply.

It will take us a while to significantly increase the number of Transactions while decreasing Velocity so the only other variable under our direct immediate control is Supply so we should do our best to reduce supply as much as possible as soon as possible while maintaining a viable PoW/PoS reward protocol.

I'm not a techie in any way.

I don't even know how to jailbreak my ipad.  Actually, it's much worse than that.

Since I have no programming skills I would like to at least pitch some CASH coins into the developer pot.

So 10,000 CASH for the development itself which is on top of the 15,000 I donated to get Shrem onboard.

So that's 25,000 total CASH.

I wish more people would step up to help or if they can't, then at least donate something.  I'm not exactly rich but 25,000 CASH coins is affordable and can be replaced fairly cheaply right now even though I paid 1,800 for a lot of my coins.

Thank you, Paul.

Well I am happy to get the software updated, although any update I make needs to be downloaded by most of the users to make any real effect! Smiley

The pools shouldn't be a problem but we do have a big anonymous miner which I thought may have been the original dev so hopefully that doesn't become an issue.

Hello,

I have seen, been mining a little myself but def noticed the large power mining going on!, it does seem to suggest someone is very interested in obtaining cash coins,  the problem is if this one person has too many and once we get it more common, they might come back out from being hidden to try and "take over" or even ruin the coin value by large scale selling

Does CASH have a rich-list?  That may tell us if and how much someone is hoarding.

It would be possible to check wallets ect for balances, but not everyone would like a public "rich" list lol

Ok.  I've seen them for a lot of top coins, even Bitcoin, so I assumed that was the norm.

Well some people like them, others do not Smiley

but with the open nature of bitcoins and alike, you can't really "hide" your cash, just no one has your "name", but you can find out the amount in any wallet rather easy, so its more just a nature of the network, but i am happy to look into this at a later date

Can't have a rich list without a full block explorer.

Another problem that needs to be looked at is if we are susceptible to the heart bleed bug

The coin has no value yet, so that will not  be a problem. I doubt that it will revive, but maybe worth a long shot.

I have been in touch with Mr Shrem just to let him know that we are in the process of setting up a DEV fund, and said to him that we should be in  a position to make an offer for the cashcoin.org domain name by the end of next week,

Now its up to the community to fund the purchase, as l cant make an offer on your behalf until the funds are in place , if we can make a fair offer to Mr Shrem then he will also come on board as an adviser .  The time has come to stop talking, and start  acting .

Lets get this fund well supported and get Mr Shrem along for the ride.

Come on guys, there are a lot more people in CASH right now than are actually posting.

I paid a lot higher price for a lot of my CASH than many people here yet I've gladly donated 25,000 cash thus far.

We're lucky to have a competent dev working on this coin and very lucky to have someone like Shrem willing to work with us.

Loosen the purse strings guys before it's too late.  At 200 Satoshi it costs nearly nothing to pitch in 10,000 coins.

Everybody pitch in whatever you can - as little or as much as you're willing to give - in any community, participating counts more than the dollar amount.

Regards....

Be careful trying to guilt people into donating
The price you paid is a pittance compared to what some of the other people have paid here including myself.
I'm more than happy to continue to help out like I have been but you won't see me throwing more money into Cash.
If the new DEV manages to turn around cashes fortunes and makes me back some of my lost money I will then probably give him a  thank-you reword, but not putting any more in now.

I think you cashed it up to 1800.
Thats less then 10% of the price I paid for a lot of mine

hey, same here, it was probably on 8th of feb. then i cleared sell orders up 4k sat.And i did hold these coins for months.

In anycase i could chip in for another 2500 for Shrem and 4500 for dev funds.

If anybody`s interested in new logo i could contact my old classmate who`s designing helmets for race cars. He has pretty distinct style and is definitely gifted by nature.Just give me some guidelines.

I understand some people got in higher but what I was suggesting is buying say 10,000 CASH now which is only ~.02 BTC and donating that.

That's what I'm doing. Even .01 BTC, that's 5,000 CASH.

I don't mean to guilt trip anyone but that's a tiny amount to pitch in given CASH has a second chance.  And if you paid 10 times the currency price, to me that would be an even bigger reason to get this coin relaunched.

Cheers!
