This is a big step to make this project impressive in the near future...
That makes Ethereum to be a kind of currency, not just the fuel for the smart contract platform, quite good. |

Sorry we did a quick backend update in prepare for notifications and other features. We have had a few DDoS attempts but nothing that has cause any issue with mining. We appologise for any downtime but it should have been minimal. Most miners are hashing away but you might have failed over to a back up pool if you had one sent. All payouts have been sent also  |

Hi, I have a problem with the ethereum wallet (I tried 0.7.4, 0.7.3 and 0.6.2). When I go to "The DAO" contract and click on the "Pick a Function" dropdown, there are only the two items "Create Token Proxy" and "Vote". Shouldn't there be much more items (such as "New Proposal" or "Split DAO")?
Is this, how it should look like (Ethereum-Wallet-win64-0-7-4)? Where is, e.g., the "New Proposal" item?  Hmm, still no answer. Seems this thread has an excess of pumpers and a lack of experts.. :-( |

It will drop in the future when it becomes PoS. 15% loss a year is the definition of a hyperinflation and it's actually higher than 15% and pos won't save you because pos is broken. Read your own source telling you it's 22,4% this year and it will be 38 years before it reaches the same low inflation like the US-Dollar has currently. lol, i think USD is a better coin than this one. Loosing 1 fifth of your purchasing power this and one fith next year makes almost loosing halve the value in 2 years quaranteed and baked into the code. lol https://blog.ethereum.org/2014/04/10/the-issuance-model-in-ethereum/In other words: you will have to raise another 240 million this and 240 million next year for the miners to keep it at todays' price. Good luck raising half a billion after the hype is long gone. Also don't forget most money in this is speculation money and people need to take profits especially in a down-market. Bearmarket in this will be quite amusing to watch from the sidelines. But people can't say they haven't been warned. |
