It seems that before the btc hardfork in 2 weeks it will not stop climbing (literally like crazy, I even suspect 10k is a realistic limit now), while all other alts including eth dip. Also with eth fork and increased supply, its price steadily goes down. Which actually makes it a good investment time.

Well, usually the focus and the hype of the mass it's like a spotlight, can focus only to one theme. Moreover, remeber that in the altcoin world there is a lot of speculation, so it's normal that the hype is shifting from a coin to another one

Ethereum has a lot of competitors but none of them have the similar level Ethereum has. You can find smart contracts, token creation etc. in other projects but they are immature yet. In the future there will be better competitors but right now Ethereum is at the top.

The only question people should be asking is

When moon?

Who knows? With ICO managers dumping Ethereum it might take a while. Would need fresh blood from outside of the crypto world to significantly drive the price up. I really don't think that Ethereum is the best hodl coin, considering it's used to invest in ICOs and fuel them.

There's more than 6 times less Bitcoins than Ethereum though, so you can't exactly compare the two straight up.
