Do you approve this strategy: sell alts buy btc?

I don't think this is good strategy, because if you focus only on one item, like btc, it can be wrong. A spare option is always useful.

For me it is best choice as bitcoin is full of profit and now a day price is now very high but profit will be very high so if you will sell one altcoins you will be able to buy almost 3 bitcoin, so buy now and hold so latter one your one bitcoin price will be equal to almost 3 altcoins, as bitcoin increases very high in price so better if you buy right now and keep on holding as much as you can hold, holding is best strategy to get profit form bitcoin.

I never want to invest on any of altcoins by selling my bitcoins because I knows that bitcoin has more potential than any other coins so it will give more benefits in future if we hold until,if you invest on altcoins you can invest the amount from profits of your bitcoin.

well Good for you but think it carefully sometimes altcoins has a potential also not just always bitcoin is the best priority it depends on how you invest and what kind of investor are you.

If selling altcoins and buying bitcoin is Good also, in the way that you can make offer more that usual.

Personally, I never plan on investing in alts for long term anyway, as for me; they have always only been a way to at least increase my bitcoin stash through trading. As it is, except for few of them, their life totally somehow depends on bitcoin and in the case where bitcoin is really increasing hugely or decreasing hugely, they always get beaten so bad, so in that case, unless I am investing in a project where I know that there is a great future for it, I would rather be holding more of btc instead.

Well it depends on various time points! Whether it is point when the BTC is going all the way down or altcoins going up! If the altcoins are going at high peaks then obviously we are making the profit and thus it would always be better to convert the profits into BTC and keeping that investment into the BTC for the next time when BTC will get pumped. Or when the BTC is at its lowest point then you can always make investment into it by selling your alts so that you can get profits after the BTC goes upwards. These are simple techniques but very successful if worked properly.

I don't think that to sell altcoin will give us much bitcoin especially if the altcoin price is down like today because the amount of bitcoin that we can get is reduced. maybe it's better to hold the altcoin that we have until the altcoin price is back to increase again so if we sell the altcoin, we can get much bitcoin and we can wait for bitcoin price is back to increase to sell the bitcoin.

It depends on you, if you think that the altcoins today you are holding does not have the potential to grow even more further then switch to bitcoins because the price is still continue to increase even more.

I think the idea behind this strategy is to take advantage of the low price bitcoin
the writer of that article believes bitcoin will start increasing soon and people will dump their altcoins
so when bitcoin rises, people will sell their altcoins (dumping alts = cheap alts) for BTC then sell BTC to get profit in $ fiat
while this writer moves against the market and take profit in form of accumulating/buying cheap altcoins
so it's a sound strategy to counterpart market's behavior and take one step ahead of the market/everyone

maybe selling altcoin to buy bitcoin is a solution for people who want to invest in bitcoin but do not have the capital to buy bitcoin in addition to selling altcoin they have.
in fact I do not advocate doing so, because holding altcoins is also a good decision to get a bigger profit.

If we take a look at the market in the recent days, i dont think this would be a good idea, though the bitcoin prices are going down now, the other alts are even goes deeper, regarding the prices, it is unwise to sell our alts and buy BTC, as the gap was too big i think

It depends on the altcoin a person is holding, now most of the altcoin have no value or it can take longer for them than expected to rise in a definite period of time so it is better to sell them for sake of Bitcoin. But due to a high price of BTC, no everyone can afford to buy it so they must look out for altcoin which has a momentum to rise in short period thought the BTC price remains stable. Getting profit from BTC by selling altcoin or investing in altcoin to get profit both are a different strategy which doesn't work for everyone but for some, it works those who know how to tackle the market.

I prefer buy bitcoin than other. I dont want to sell my bitcoin to buy other. Because bitcoin is more profitable.

That is my original plan since I enter crypto world but it always depends on where I can get earnings because all I want is to get benefit on both but for now I want to explore more I want to learn any different cryptos.

You will only do that if you are a fan of fiat. Honestly, that is my opinion. In the first place, you trade bitcoins over altcoins only because you are seeing the value in dollars are increasing... but if you are a hardcore bitcoin enthusiast, you will buy bitcoins during pumps, and buy bags of it during dumps.

No i do not agree cause for me sell btc and buy alts including ico. Sometimes buying tokens from ico projects can give you profit in a short period of time.

You should act according to current market condition. If you see that alt coins are moving slow, sell them and convert in bitcoins.

I can say it depends. If you f you find a good ALTCOIN, I do not think it's necessary to sell it.
I also suggest you diversify your Crypto assets, not only fill your bag with Bitcoin.

i personally don't have any investment in any altcoin to want to sell it now and have bitcoin. i only have my investment in bitcoin because that is the only thing that i understand and i also trust. any altcoin out there that i check out and analyze technically disappoints me greatly which means i don't have any faith in their long term survival and good futures. so i don't invest in any of them. what i do is short term trading altcoins to increase my bitcoin holdings.
