Do you approve this strategy: sell alts buy btc?

I read this article, but I want to see opinions, would you sell all your alts to have only bitcoin now ? I don't think this is recommended

I would not recommend investing in just one crypto currency. Undoubtedly, bitcoin now leads the market, but this does not mean that you can ignore the rest of the crypto currency. To date, we can see a large number of promising coins, in which it is worth investing. Therefore, I share the investment and choose several worthy projects.

Personally, I always support people buying BTC, because I believe that BTC is the best and least risky coin on the market today, holding BTC we will never fear that it will lose capital. The longer they hold, the more valuable they are. Your profits will grow so I always support everyone who buys BTC,

different from me, even though i invest in bitcoin, but i still hold potential altcoin. we know if there is pump on altcoin, we will profit a lot, although this is more risky, but i try to enjoy it

Risk is part of crypto currency, even it's bitcoin or altcoin everything will happen is risky because anytime you can lose your money , but you will avoid that if you understand the market .

For me, it is better to stay in alts most  preferably into ethereum cause we know how volatile is bitcoin today than of altcoins which couldn't have a good way of gaining profit. But anyway, bitcoin is still a good form of investment compared to some altcoins and still gaining.

Altcoin depends on bitcoin price, if bitcoin fall then every altcoin fall with him. Right now I have 95% amount  in bitcoin, because I'm afraid to put that money in some altcoin. Other 5%  I'm holding in some altcoin , but seems that I will exchange it soon for bitcoin, because bitcoin seems goes up right now.

That's a good strategy, since you are buying the real deal in crypto currency. Alts depend on btc, and if an altcoin will not be recognized or will not be approved to be used, then it is much better to own a bitcoin because it is the most traded coin in the market and it is the original cryptocurrency. Nothing beats the original.

Well sometimes I do it to gain some profit and sometimes I even sell my BTC to buy some alt-coins,
I do it to gain some profit for example BTC is dropping low then I would sell it to buy some alt-coin then convert my alts to BTC when the price of it is getting pump.

I would do that if Altcoin's price was going up high and Bitcoin's price was going down, so I could get two advantages at once, the first advantage because I sell altcoins at high prices, and a second advantage because I can get Bitcoin at a low price. But if the prices are both stable, I will not sell Altcoin to buy Bitcoin, I will still Hold Altcoin.

Why not? If it's working well and if we could gain better profit out of it. However, we must know that there are also lots of potential altcoins that is worth holding. It is not easy to predict the best one but we should do series of research about it. We should also think well before making a decision.

Yes, I agree with this strategy, especially in the process of falling market, holding altcoin will be a disaster. Sell it quickly and change it into a bitcoin, or USDT.

It depends on the quality offer, the status and background of altcoins, and market condition. I think there are also a lot of altcoins that have so much potential for trading or investment. So, what we can do is to do research on best altcoins, with strong team and project, and is profitable. If we find the best altcoin and feel it can give huge profit and worth holding, it's better to hold and sell it at appropriate time. I don't see any problems engaging in good altcoins while doing same thing with Bitcoin. Bitcoin as the leading crypto is more stable, but sometimes I think we need to also explore and diversify, because admittedly, not all time bitcoin is in good condition, and so same thing with alts.

Both altcoins and botcoin users have patience to hold the coins for ling time. Invest in bitcoin is 80% means invest in altcoins 20%. Because the value of bitcoin is very high compare to other altcoins. There are so many altcoins now available in the market but only bitcoin is available. No other competitor coin for bitcoin is not available till now. So invest in altcoins and hold it for long time once the price is reasonable you can sell and buy bitcoin.

Not entirely agree. A trader needs to understand the market situation. Indeed many say this is a good time to buy. It's just that if you have capital outside of crypto, now the average altcoins also decreased in price. So it's not possible to sell all altcoins and buy bitcoins that will only get the same value

He didn't directly say sell all kinds of altcoincs and Buy Bitcoin instead. And in my own experience I don't have to offload my altcoins for Bitcoin because when Bitcoin's rally will come all of the cryptocurrencies in the market or the majority of it will rally together with it. Some Altcoins even outperform Bitcoin when it comes to overall price change. I think we are in the time now where a lot of traders even the newbies are looking for other investment opportunities in the market, and what I mean by that they are starting to hold other cryptocurrencies as well.

No not much..I don't totally agree with the idea of sell alt the buy Bitcoin. But you can buy altcoin, then when it's the right or perfect time to sell it the do it sell some of it and then buy more bitcoins..

Exactly! Because not all altcoins have low qualities, there are some that are also stable. However, we need to be more careful in choosing altcoin to mitigate risks and losses. If Altcoin is not in good standard, I prefer to sell it and buy Bitcoin instead, knowing that Bitcoin is leading in the market, decline in price is just minimal and still it can generate income, it's popular, established, increasing demand and is more profitable. Furthermore, it does not stop on that part, we should still to learn something new, enhance skills, be informed, creative and responsible.
