Do you approve this strategy: sell alts buy btc?

I read this article, but I want to see opinions, would you sell all your alts to have only bitcoin now ? I don't think this is recommended

Bitcoin is the strongest crypto currency and bitcoin is more likely to survive than failures, and in other words bitcoin is the best coin among other crypto coins so choosing a bitcoin for investment is the best option.

If you talk about the long term one then yeah Bitcoin are untouchable as the beast , top cryptocurrency with a lot of supports behind. But when you talk about making profits in shorter term like 3 months , 6 months , a year or even for your daily trade , altcoin have a better statistics based on my experience holding / trading. That's just about choice.

I did not do that strategy, because if I invest in altcoin it is better to sell it directly to my country's currency. And if I invest in Bitcoin like that too.

I used to have a large number of of coins in my portfolio, but now I'm on the why to cut it to minimum. Of course I do not wish to stay just bitcoin, especially in the current situation, it really shows bad temps of growth, but to have Etherum, Waves and couple more coins in the portfolio is good time and money saving method.

The Alts are at the lowest levels they can be. Selling them now and buying a bitcoin is not a very logical move. I need to wait a little longer. Instead of panic sales, you can get some nice profit.

Yes, I also do not recommend it. Because I will not sell all the Altcoin I have just to buy and stay in Bitcoin. Bitcoin is very promising and profitable but many Altcoin also has good prospects for the future. So I will keep Bitcoin and also hold my Altcoin. I am sure I am not wrong choosing the coins I hold.

Yes, in many cases you want to upgrade and if you want to upgrade in the crypto market then you will have to leave your previous holding currency for valuable one or to upgrade to valuable one besides the first holding crypto. In case of Bitcoin and Altcoin it is valid if you are selling one for a valuable one as we are here to get maximum profit and this is possible if we sell Altcoin and upgrade to Bitcoin.

     Umm,.. Nope, definitely not. Yes, bitcoins and other main alternate coins out there are a great investment if investors want to be sure and do not like the hassle of researching about various alternate coins and the developing teams behind them. But for me and for the others that don't mind the hassle? We prefer altcoins because they give greater potential specially for small investors to get more profits. I think a better thing to do would be to divide profits and spend half for main coins investments and the other half for the not well known coins that have great potential.

No, because the main altcoins and bitcoin are rising and falling at the same time, so it's pointless.

Yes when the price of bitcoin increases then altcoins price also increases but there are some altcoins which do not increase much but take care of that. But sometimes it happens that some altcoins decrease much lower and you lose a high amount and even in bitcoin you get a lower amount of bitcoin when you sell that altcoin so for the better security bitcoin is more suggested.

People buy alts because some of them can yield you a 100x return while this would be hard for Bitcoin even at its current "low". On the other hand alts also bleed way worse than Bitcoin. So in a bear market in can make sense to go BTC only but just as a rule of thumb. there's always exceptions.

I do not approve this strategy. Although bitcoin is a good coin, there are also many good altcoins. Therefore, dont throw away your treasure like that. Altcoins can even bring you a bigger profit than bitcoin itself. However, if you are holding bad altcoins, I think selling is the best you can do in here. I will buy Btc, more and more. Bitcoin has a history, true history. Altcoin following bitcoin and can be scam. For a better ways I will always keep and buy BTC. I will buy altcoin if their project is good and has a strong team and community, has a value grow. But I will spend just a little money to altcoin

I agree with you, have only bitcoin is not good, because there are a lot of altcoins with a good project, that you can invest on them and maybe the better way is when you have bitcoin and have other cryptocurrencies is good too.

Are not. I will never sell altcoin to buy BTC. Maybe 2017 is the year of bitcoin but not sure if 2018 bitcoin will burst again. altcoin will be able to earn x3 or x4 assets at any time easily

It depends if you have acquired altcoins and you saw that their prices have increased overtime.
Personally, I find the method useful as you are maximizing and diversifying your investments by investing not solely into bitcoin but you explore other options as well. Only sell your bitcoins/altcoins if the prices are higher from what you acquired them in the first place. Investing into bitcoin, on the other hand, may be considered as a short or long-term investment since its volatility is remarkably high. Depending on the market outcome, you may sell your bitcoins on the spot if you saw that their price skyrocketed, despite having a long-term goal on it.

It is good to own some bitcoin but I don't recommend selling all your alts to buy bitcoin. Bitcoin could rise to unprecedented levels but some alts are not expensive at all and could increase a thousandfold. Get some bitcoin and get some alts too.l

The key into investment is by diversifying your resources by not investing into just one method. If you want to maximize your profits, you need to explore other options by investing into multiple methods available. Focusing into cryptocurrency alone may be relatively good as their exist a broad spectrum of choices but other investment mechanisms should be considered as well (i.e. stocks, gold, real estate, etc.)

bitcoin still be the best choice, I suggest you keep investing in btc, but if you excess capital trying to invest in altcoin there is no harm in anyway there may be more profit opportunities in altcoin though I also still doubt because most of altcoin still berpatokan price on btc

Yes i really approve this kind of strategy, which is also my goals for the promising value of 2018 which my goals are collecting holding BTC coin in a preparation for future bigger earning. Otherwise this is not a choice for a diehard funs of Altcoins too. But for me bring as good opportunity to increase the profitable earnings once the market takes to the moon.

I don't think that to sell altcoin will give us much bitcoin especially if the altcoin price is down like today because the amount of bitcoin that we can get is reduced. maybe it's better to hold the altcoin that we have until the altcoin price is back to increase again so if we sell the altcoin, we can get much bitcoin and we can wait for bitcoin price is back to increase to sell the bitcoin.

Such decision depends on current situation on the market and what altcoin you are going to sell or buy. Because when bitcoin drops, altcoins drop harder and when it grow up, they recover faster.

It may be depending on the fluctuation in market but as you are saying that when the price of BTCs goes down, altcoins go more down and vice versa which means altcoins’ price is depending directly on the price of BTCs so there would be no loss or no problem if one sells his alts and buy Btcs with them because BTCs has more worth than alts so it will give more profit in future.

bitcoin has more potential than any other coins I don't think it is right that to sell your altcoins and buy bitcoin because altcoin and bitcoin are the same price movement when bitcoin down also altcoins down. I believe that the investment in your hand should be 70 percent bitcoin as 30 percent altcoin.
