Such decision depends on current situation on the market and what altcoin you are going to sell or buy. Because when bitcoin drops, altcoins drop harder and when it grow up, they recover faster.
It may be depending on the fluctuation in market but as you are saying that when the price of BTCs goes down, altcoins go more down and vice versa which means altcoins’ price is depending directly on the price of BTCs so there would be no loss or no problem if one sells his alts and buy Btcs with them because BTCs has more worth than alts so it will give more profit in future. It is depend on which alt you can put your btc to switch off your investment. For now, I can say that it is better to hold ethereum rather than any coin because ethereum shows how good the every change of its price. It really can give good profit because the fall is not that long and when it recovers, your investment can earn huge profit. but still diversify your investment, Bitcoin will recover soon, do not give up, waiting will be worth. |

Depends on how you handle your coins and bitcoin. For me, I buy alt and still sell it and trade in alt like ethereum. Alts has more chances of gaining higher income especially when that alt really pump and has potential to grow. |

I'm not agree in that strategy because every altcoins have potential in the future, bitcoin now is more stable coins, but other altcoin have good value and good products or amazing application. Nothing is different if you buy bitcoin or altcoin the important is how you handle those coins.

I go for buy more alts and buy more BTC. The market is down and prices are very sweet.
You can't do anything with BTC now, so you can do daily profits ONLY with alts.

I do not approve of this strategy. Most altcoins with growing market grow much stronger than bitcoin. Sell altcoyins need only at the peak

True, every coin has some chance to just go up in future, of course one will have more and other less but there is not 100% that coin will be going down always, so being patient and holding coins which we had invested could bring some income in future. |

True, every coin has some chance to just go up in future, of course one will have more and other less but there is not 100% that coin will be going down always, so being patient and holding coins which we had invested could bring some income in future. choose some potential altcoin, but not one altcoin, as this is a greater risk. but we also have to hold the bitcoin so psychologically we will be cool and calm, because that's the key to trading |

No, because the main altcoins and bitcoin are rising and falling at the same time, so it's pointless.
That depends on which coin he had invested cause some of coins are just going down and there is too little chance for it to pump over price when we invested so selling it and putting it in more sure coin like btc has some sense than. |

Yes i approve that strategy. It is anothey way to dispose your low value altcoins. Buy selling your altcoins or by exchange it in bitcoin is a good strategy to lower your loss or even you can gain now profit. Holding bitcoin is more profitable than holding alts that have low values.

I guess, selling your alts for bitcoin is good but don't sell if it is not necessary and if you are going to sell it must be alternately . I mean don't just sell alts but also bitcoin because we sometimes bitcoin and even alts is in dump stage. |

I think that this is a smart strategy. I am sure that I will win much if do the same. btc has a lot of advantages and I will be following this trend because btc is wanted by everyone and I am not an exception. this is a better alternative to altcoin

A very big and controversial question indeed. Majority of bounty hunters find it very difficult to and sometimes contemplate whether to sell all the altcoins they have attained to buy bitcoin or hodl the altcoins as they are. The issue I have is that, the market price of some alts are a bit stable and hunters would like to hodl them like that. Some also really enjoy selling the alts since they can drop drastically without rising. It is in the view of this where I will sell my alts and buy BTC. What are your plans?

Both bitcoin and other altcoins are profitable so why would we sell bitcoin in exchange of altcoins if we could hold both? Hodling bitcoin is a long term adventure that could provide us a good profit in the future so I am willing to hodl it longer as well as altcoins. |

your reasoning is less precise in my opinion, the problem is altcoin with bitcoin we can see definitely high bitcoin, if you sell altcoin to buy bitcoin maybe I think it takes altcoin lot for sale and used to buy bitcoin. |

I think it all depends on the price, if the bitcoin price goes down I will sell my alts, that way I can buy a lot of bitcoin. we need to know that bitcoin is more potential than alts and bitcoin prices may affect other altcoins.
