Well, in my opinion, there are probably some factors or reasons behind the falling of Bitcoin that leads the fall of altcoins. First is about the strategy of the big investor or holders of the Bitcoin itself. Then, it may also be because of the negative issues and condition around the world, including the USD rate right now.

Nobody knows for sure why bitcoin has fallen lately. Some people say it's because of a negative issue or a ban in some countries using bitcoin. But I believe more that whales have manipulated the market so they can get coins at low prices to make a big profit.

those who sell cheap are not stupid actions, only what is stupid is why they want to sell it today, even though it can still be done next time.

People who have the large quantities of bitcoin or who owns it has dumping and pumping it to control how the market price of bitcoin revolves and we people who just hold a small or quarter of bitcoin has nothing to do with it but to bear with it. Im not sure about how they manage to do it or they are just a circle of friends that's manipulating the market price and volume of bitcoin. Of course the regulations around the bitcoin's legality world wide is surely affect it too.

Good point but yeah we never know what causes it but i think its heavily dependent to the actions the investors are doing. I hope it recovers now. For us all, lets be patient, again.

To me I think inexperienced investors was part of the falling of bitcoin,Bitcoin was created a decade ago, but it’s been only few years since it went beyond the narrow circle of interested in new technology specialists and got attention of masses. As a result, people of all ages, with no previous experience in financial operations.

maybe because those who have a lot of bitcoin sell it, so there is too much bitcoin on the market. and because the amount of bitcoin in the market can cause bitcoin prices to fall. that is my opinion

I think that Bitcoin fell because of the manipulation of whales in the cryptocurrency market. Of course, after last year's rally, its price was to go to the correction, but it should be around 12 thousand dollars, but not as 6-7 thousand.

There are so many reasons why bitcoin is falling and one of them is that bitcoin composes demand and supply, and one of the biggest factor why the bitcoin is falling was due to the number of users who usually affected immediately with the price whenever it dumps.

I think there's more than one reason. In my opinion bitcoin fell due to a set of reasons. For example, many people who bought bitcoin last year did not even understand how it works and why it is needed. They just wanted easy money, that's all. But the price can not grow all the time and because of this correction began.

I think the whales are to blame. They want to buy as much cryptocurrency as possible at the cheapest price. So they specially dump the price.
