Great news for people who wants to buy cheap coins imo, he can't sustain that hashrate on the coin for long, he'll just lose money² (losing money selling cheap coins, and losing money wasting energy and hardware)

Read the thread, it's a scampool. He's not using his own hardware/electricity, but the wecoin miners'.
He'll sustain the hashrate for 5 days, after which it will return back, but I think the damage to the price of the coin (which is already in freefall) will be unreparable.

I don't own Maxcoins, but from what I've seen and from the amount of hashrate, and holders, I doubt it will have any effect appart from driving the price down a bit, till Maxkeiser tweet something or say something in RT about the coin and you'll see it soar again, if feel like too big to fail right now

The dumpers are dumping 20-50k+ coins a day, sometimes all at once. That guy dumping 5k is nothing and likely won't even move the price much.

Keiser needs get off his keister and get this coin accepted at McDonalds or something if the price is ever going to go up. With that said, if we look at other coins that have had even a little success it takes at least 6 months before anything real happens. Hell, bitcoin took years.

Frankly only absolute idiot can mine(or as they tell :"public premine") this scam.In fact pool mining MAX and not Wecoin and try hiding it as new coin for future profit.

I expect this coin to rise slightly and keep stronger than other coins, possibly even becoming eventually *the* preferred GPU coin, as scrypt ASICs are entering the scrypt mining market at fast pace (2000+ are shipping already in GBs).

SHA3 is probably ASIC-able but it will be long before interest is moving towards it. It could have beneficial results on the price at any rate.
