Reason we pay taxes and why we should

If you are walking on the road and enjoying a nice day at the nearby park it's all because someone paid their taxes.
Taxes helps a lot , I have seen people frowning over about how they don't want to pay any taxes and as such.
Government ensures that if you earn over a certain amount then for sure you can contribute in the making of your country. It's only if you are able to.
Taxes helps in :

    Paying the salary of government employees
    Making of roads
    Public schools
    Parks run by the government
    Maintenance fees
    Making government hospitals
    Making high schools ... The list is endless

We all use all these services at one part of the life or other therefore we can just consider it a little payment for that .
People frown how government is corrupt , it is but not entirely if it was then you woont see new projects coming up in your town or city.

It's just our responsibility to pay taxes, we shouldn't run from it because it will more or so be used for everyone out there in your country , you are indirectly helping others too through paying them , the less advantageous ones.

Also one might say government can print all the money they need , but that's not the case ..the more money a government prints the lower the value of their currency gets which genrally have adverse effects in many sectors.

In mu opinion, As a good citizen we must pay taxes. It will be country income.

Taxes are correct, but then where they go without control into the pockets of thieves is terrible. Pay taxes to arrange someone an excellent life ...

Unfourtunately we are people and as soon as people are concerned only for their wealth and own interest such a thing won`t be a long lasting defence, it has been proved many times, we are in a same ship but we always want to build another for ourselves.  It's for our own good but also most of us think of its disadvantage especially if you have to pay taxes more that could lessen your finances.

Yeah.... the same old argument. But the fact remains just the opposite. In most of the nations, the tax money is not used for the construction of roads and schools. Most of it is used for waging wars and to pay salaries and pensions to the lazy government employees.

Tax gets misused many times like funding NASA "planet mars mission". There are more meteorite hits on Mars than on Earth but they are spending tax payers multi-million dollars on Mars missions. Wasteful government expenditure of the governments must be cancelled by the taxpayers.

A fact that we can never rule out in most countries. If we are really to bank on taxes, a lot of people would have been enjoying all over the world more than they do today, but the fact remains that a lot of times, these tax money is used for even things that are inappropriate and irrelevant and at the end, they just give us some show off. Nevertheless, if we are to look at those reasons to pay tax, I definitely will not, but since I regard the law, I guess that is just the main reason.

Well, that is good for the places where the taxpayers’ money is working. Let me give you another reason why you should not pay your tax. Where you look around you and the government is not providing any facility to even enjoy your life, no infrastructure in place like good electricity supply, good roads and so on, corruption simply is the norm of the day for most politicians, then that is one good reason you should not pay your tax, but if you have all these things, well, the choice is yours to make. Go to some places in Africa and Asia, then, you will understand what I am saying.

As citizen in a country , a good citizen abide the law of the land he or she will pay taxes to the government for the reason that the funds collected by the officials will be used for different fundings , like salary of the public school teacher, the doctors , the police, fireman and other public official, including the president that rule the country, and for the infrustracture projects of the government , like the roads , the bridges, railways , school buildings and hospitals which are public that citizens can benefits.

Many people will thought that every money they pay for the taxes will be used correctly by the goverment but I won't trust goverment. This happen in my country. The market stand for too long and the building is too old but it also taje long to start rebuilding the market. There are lots of corrupts so decentralization is created because of that.

Even we dont want to pay taxes we cant do anything even we say tax is a theft what we can do.here in our country they aldreafy deduct tax in our salary so before we receive our salary irs already deducted

Then you have to start being your own boss instead of working for someone else and depending on him paying your salary.

Taxation is the lifeblood of the Government, here in the Philippines, it is indeed one of the inherent powers of the Government, together with Police Powers and Eminent domain. We as individuals, countrymen and living in our different countries distinct rights and privileges and responsibilities, that responsibility entails to paying taxes when you are gaining income. Some working institutions are the one who will pay taxes for you as employee but some, you are the one who will word hard to pay to a Government agency. When you are earning bitcoin, then technically congratulations! You are not required in paying taxes, because in this industy, we are in the underground economy.

Agreed.We may have some corrupt officials sitting in the government but i believe most of the officials are still thinking of the welfare of the country.So even if we are just a minimum wage earner,still we are responsible to pay our own taxes in due time so we can also contribute to the continuous progress of our country.

As far as i know the reason we pay our taxes is for our government to have funds for the expenses of the country. Those expenses are like building roads and bridges, creating funds for the salary and wages of the government employees. So do you think we should pay our taxes? Well for me it is a big YES we should. Because if we will not pay our taxes there will be no road for us to drive to there will be any bridges to walk thru. Many people pay for the tax, the tax used to pay all the Government official on their job but many Government Official became more richer because they steal the money from it you can see many official are now rich because of this tax paying so better to have no tax that to pay tax that goes into a wrong person.

Taxation is used by a government to build for an economic growth, through this we have wide road, bridges and other that made by government project that was our tax contribution to them. But I think 80% or 90% on that in a project the rest are corrupting that government stuff by their own pocket. So the return to us was not exactly from collecting a tax.
