You should really think about faster diff retarget, current block time is too much....if you keep this diff retarget i fear you will end like giftcoin.

About coinminer.  I only learned about it when I started mining for BEN.  No previous experience, but it's paying (when blocks are found).  I think the guy who posted about 42 isn't getting anything because he hasn't been on it long enough, the pool isn't finding any coins, or the threshold is set too high for that particular coin.

I mine with the following command:

Code:
bfgminer.exe -o http://coinminer.net:19986 -O 1L6Z3RcdwMfCTRnw5v3jKVpfhRJPaxe3Vz:nopass

This command line is copyrighted.  You may use it freely as long as you replicate it exactly as presented without modification Smiley

Hey, (what's your name anyways?), when putting up translated pages, you may want to offer a small bounty for translations created by native speakers.  It would go a long ways towards to building an international community.  While most people can wade through poorly translated text, they're always more comfortable reading information with proper grammar and culture specific phrasing.

With that said, it may also be a good idea to include a detailed description of what a Benjamin is for people in other parts of the world that may not be familiar with the cultural reference.  While the USD may be the world's reserve currency, not everyone knows that it's often referred to clams, shells, bread, dough, jacksons, benjamins, etc..

Speaking of foreign currency, do you know, off the top of your head, how much is 2 greens is, or what a loonies and toonies are?

Hrrm... loonies/toonies would be awesome coins to mine!

PS: Still haven't figured out how to generate vanity addresses. Sad

When I try to run benjaminsd on CentOS, it gives me the following error:

Code:
/usr/lib64/libstdc++.so.6: version `GLIBCXX_3.4.15' not found (required by ./benjaminsd)

Any idea on how to fix it?

Sounds like you are missing a file. Every coin uses that so if needed you can always replace it from another coin's folder. Did you fix it yet?

It also says I am missing "libz.so.1" sometimes.

Is it possible for me to have someone just upload those files to mega so that I can copy them into my libraries?

these sound like libraries you need to install from centos. google the file and find out what package it belongs to... then install it.

Sounds to me like you're installing a binary distribution that was built against a different system.  Try building from source and see if it doesn't work better.

We've been looking for native translators for a while, now, but no responses. Totally open to having legit translation

We are also open to changing how difficulty adjusts later if needed. We are still in the first 2 weeks, and some of the ways it adjusts is based on the last two weeks, which means that we are very soon getting to proper adjustments

Have you considered integrating the Kimoto Gravity Well?  Dunno if how well it works, but many other altcoins seem to be using it with some success.

If all else doesn't work, it's a good fail-safe to fall back on. Ideally, we don't want to copy and paste in a solution, though
