Just so you guys know, our goal is to get the Paysha Beta up this weekend. We will be testing it with Benjamin paper wallets first

There will be values of 10,000, 1000, and 100 BENs pre-loaded. We are still debating whether we will ship these on physical paper form, or include them on a Paysha flash drive with sticker seal and amount printed on the outside of the drive itself so the amount pre loaded is known without inserting it into the drive. You will also be able to verify funds via the block explorer and the Public key printed on the sticker seal

Any opinions would be appreciated. We will most likely open sign ups to merchants next weekend. This weekend we hope to have the backend ready enough to put up a demo shop with the BEN cold storage units
Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

I'm waiting on a few quotes right now on the USB drives. There's a lot of really cool options if we go that route. It's a little more expensive, but we can knock off a few dollars by using really small drives, storage-wise. That's what I'm waiting for numbers on

I have 2 questions in mind:

1. First, where can we buy BENs?

2. If we mine BEN through Cloud server like digital ocean-where can i find some instructions how to?

Cloud servers like digital ocean are generally for mining CPU coins, not SHA-256.  SHA-256 coins pretty much require an ASIC device for mining.

You *can* mine them with a cloud server, but you will get very, very, very few BEN's with it - like maybe 1 BEN per month.  Actually I'm not even sure it's possible anymore, pretty sure all the current mining programs (bgfminer, cgminer) have removed CPU support.

Yeah, rewards are pretty low right now because BEN is kindof stuck in a rut diff-wise until the diff retargets in about two days (maybe longer).  Right now a 200GH ASIC will only get you around 500 BEN per day.  Once the diff re-adjusts it should be about 4x that.

We've had a few questions about this and right now we have no plans to add merged mining to Benjamins. We feel the network will survive on its own with the new projects we have coming up

merged mining kills coins.

I think you should create a merge-mined sister coin called Pentiums.  Sorry just had to post that again Cool

I was going for the easy answer.
My first instinct was to say "read the op, there are a bunch of places listed..."

Too bad Benjamins is slowly going down, but hopefully we'll see the coin value increase
once demand for the coin goes up due to it being used for supporting the purchasing and selling of goods.
