Thank you cryptapus. I already deleted some spam messages, it may be the main reason for me to moderate there. I am also updating the wiki.
More active social channels will certainly help.

I would assume it would require changing the Prime pipeline 2^512 along with Sha512 hashing as well as Sha512 Private key.
Remember, Gavin C.I.A.ndressen doesn't have a need to change bitcoin from sha256 they can't agree on anything other than cosmetic changes at this point.
Bitcoin uses Asic miners not 64 bit processors? Why not write the software to fit the hardware? and likely future hardware? AMD 128 Core Processors and 128 GB DDR5/6 RAM
Bitcoin should have never been written in sha256 other than as a selling to point for Gavin C.I.A.ndressen to his Comrades in C.hI.nA.
Quantum Computers are already here I don't want to bother your domain of coding and focus. But real work needs done without politics. Bitcoin is purely Political Invention. Wikileaks/Silk Road/FBI Honey Pots.
I already know this is a touchy subject because it pokes holes in too many conspiracies at once.

Maybe it will be good idea to raise the bar of hardware expectations even more than 256 Cores (2x128) and 2TB of RAM.

Hey Riecoin folks! Good to see @cryptapus is here! I could probably add Riecoin nodes on some of the current Gapcoin servers ... However, the Riemann Hypothesis seems to be solved: http://phys.lsu.edu/~fmoxley/bbm.pdf ? Naturally, I can appreciate how the records data remains useful - I'm sure we might pool our efforts on both projects. Unfortunately, I'm now 99.9% certain that the original Gapcoin developer (John Frey) has sadly passed away ... See: - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=822498.msg48934549#msg48934549Like, Riecoin the project has drifted for some time. Perhaps, rather ironically, this discovery might enable us to continue development more readily, something I've been reluctant to commence with whilst the project was in limbo.

It's beyond a joke that these math / data cryptocurrencies - with actual world record breaking technology have largely been ignored - by both the "Bitcoin" community and crypto / press / media at large. Folks would rather mine Dogecoin !
Riecoin and Gapcoin are just not fun enough, we have to find some stupid prime number jokes and start memes to overtake Dogecoin ... Let's hope that 2019 will be better for both.

It's not that at all ... It's greed! No money to be made off anything that actually means 'good' for anything else but the peoples pockets. VERY few of us do this for the 'good' or 'betterment' of Crypto. The whole reason Crypto exists has been taken over by the Corporate greed and mentality that the powers have instilled (once again) into an industry that is completely against what they stand for. So be it. People for the most part are greedy and will be that way for a long time to come. So if ANY of these coins are to be in the limelight, especially the corporate limelight, they need to be 'worth' it in THEIR eyes, not ours. #crysx

I've submitted a PR setting dates for CSV/segwit signalling along with some other changes: https://github.com/riecointeam/riecoin/pull/6I believe it may be possible to activate BIP65 and BIP66 along with CSV so we wouldn't need to hardcode it just yet. Feedback is welcome.

I tested CLTV on testnet and it worked fine.
I'll take a look at the pull requests and then move on to CSV.

Hi man, the only exchange is zapple --> https://zapple.com/exchangehehehe ... Beat me to it by a second or so #crysx Thanks a lot. Last time i was mining it in 2015. Any advice how many RIC can be mined with 1700x and 1950x? Which wallet to be used 0.10 or 0.16?

I noticed it looked like BIP66 may have already been activated on testnet at block 12082, but didn't have a node to connect to to verify... I'm fairly confident the CSV/segwit activation should work fine with this method. Since SuperMajority() doesn't exist in 0.16 this method should work as well, albeit with higher majority (Riecoin BIP9 currently uses uses 95%), I kind of recall SuperMajority() used 75% but could be mistaken.

I am mining ~80 RIC/day at Difficulty 1386 with a 2700X @ 3,5 GHz. Earnings are proportional to frequency and number of cores for a same architecture so you can estimate yourself for 1950X. For personal use, you can already start using 0.16.3, just backup your private keys to be safe. A first bêta release is planned for soon and starting from this, upgrade can reasonably be considered safe for most people.
