Please spread the word!  This update needs to be done by everyone in the community.  Check the main post of this forum for directions.  Downloads are in the first post as well as here.  The community asked for this update to be done and we implemented it as fast as possible.  This will prevent multiminers from leaving the network with a high diff after they mine Karmacoin, making it more fair for everyone.  The actual algorithm will change at block 10,500 which we estimate to happen around or a little after Feb 10th.  That is why the upgrades must be completed by Feb 10th for it to be successful.

so I downloaded the new wallet, opened it and I still saw my karm coins in the new wallet.

then I just deleted the old wallet and kept the new wallet in my computer.

so my action is correct? nothing is wrong?

what ever you do. do not delete wallet.dat file. i repeat. do not delete. wallet.dat file
