I've given up VAR thinking much now. Now VAR comes up and I just expect the worst. It has been kind to Liverpool past 2 games now, but overall nett negative still this season, just as it was nett negative last season. Couldn't really care less now, I never liked the implementation, not against the tech, but EPL are awful at implementing.

I'm so-so okay with my results so far. I tried a 4-2 city win trying to be clever haha. Serves me right for getting only 1 point.

VAR ruins enjoyment of the game, you can’t celebrate a goal properly any more because you’re always worried about VAR chalking it off.

Like you say, great tech but it’s being used by the same idiots who were making mistakes every week as referees.
We’ve (LFC) been negatively affected by VAR the most out of all 20 teams, that is fact by the way, not opinion. I saw a list detailing teams wrongly, negatively affected by having goals taken away & we were the worst affected.
We’re still top though with a crippling injury list most of the whole season.

And I’ve sucked in our pool for the second match week running grrrr!

Yup! I honestly just don't celebrate anymore now when we score. Only when kickoff happens again from center field do I let down my guard. You literally have to wait 5 full minutes now to confirm anything.

And yes, ESPN tracks Var nett counts. I believe we were 2nd worst nett negative last season, behind Sheffield maybe?

it is games like this one that could decide a season, could not say that I am not happy, since it is still 15 weeks already, and Toffies are on position two after this round, it is pretty damn unbelievable to me, and there is only three points difference between LFC and Everton

on the other hand, I do not think that Everton could done the title, so it is better for a city rival to take it than Tottenham, so yeah, this draw is not the best what could happened this weekend, and Tottenham scored within seconds from the start, they succeed to have a corner and goal within first minute

Hard game for Wolves today as they're not the team from last year and Uefa League aswell. Now, they concede goals much easier, they don't have 3 important players from last season and furthermore they're no in big shape...like only a few players are on top of their game or close to last year.

And still they can steal points from the big teams AND worse of all, steal points from my Spurs. I think as their own manager said before,,, if the existing guys like Adama Traore can step up,,, which he surely has, just like the way Pedro Neto stepped up to take the scoring burden,,, they will continue to stay in the league. Love seeing the way they play to be honest even if we lost points.

Anyway, happy to be back in the top 10!

Well, it’s a mix of stats and feeling of the final result
I’m combining the probability of over/under scored goals and then the stats and form of both squads in the last 3 matches

Btw, I got at the end of the day all green, 1 exact, 4 close and 1 result

You were unstoppable in the last round until hilariousetc got the correct score in the last match and stole another chance for you to get the yellow cap. How do you guys get 8 out of 10 matches with 2/3 correct picks. Do you get lucky in gambling like this too?

In the last match I though I was going to get an exact score 0 - 1, I was praying not to have anymore goals even if by chance a goal scored then let Tottenham to score. In stress I was making juice for my girl and saw Wolves scored. My pick messed up.

I am still waiting for a good round and I have no clue when will it happen. 🥴

You mentioned covid and immediately covid made another hit. Our game of the night between City and Everton is cancelled due to covid outbreak in City squad. I could not find exact details but after Walker & Jesus were positive last week as well as some staff now there is many new cases. There is also some talk that City will close training grounds for some time.

after the draw from chelsea today (1-1 vs. aston villa), i got 3 points again after a long time. i deliberately made my prediction against a win for chelsea because the team did not play convincingly in the last few games. 
now i hope for more points in tomorrow's games so as not to make the gap to 1st place bigger

Last 5 match were draw in last two days.
Today, Chelsea vs Villa and Palace vs Leicester
Yesterday, West ham vs Brighton, Liverpool vs West Brom and Wolves vs Tottenham.

Interestingly, last 4 out of 5 match ended with 1 - 1 draw and 4 in a raw ended with the same score. Imagine anyone picked 1 - 1 draw for all the matches from yesterday and today. He would have 13.5 (4*3 + 1*1.5 + 1*0) points very easily.

Is anyone going to change their picks to 1 - 1 for rest of the matches before the new year?

I had them draws initially and changed them sometime before the games.Now I am completely confused for today games and had predicted many draws but changed them to the stronger teams to win and I go for the community of Superbru choices this round,the last for 2020.

Glad to finally get one. It would be nice if it could be won by unique people every week but this won't last forever and I'd certainly like to win another or two  .

VAR would be alright if they stuck to only checking if for clear and obvious errors (like it's meant to be used), but even then the idiots in VAR still get it wrong. Arsenal really shouldn't have had a penalty against Chelsea. In play it looked like an obvious one and the ref had made the right decision, but on the replays you can see he just went down looking for it. VAR should have picked this up but nah, penalty stays.

I didn't watch it but what happened? I had them down to win 5-0 lol. Nobody backed a draw or loss. The game away to Newcastle could be tetchy. I've gone for a Liverpool win but maybe they could lose more points at St James.

I do not see how they can play the next two weeks then because is quarantine not for 2 weeks or 10 days minimum? So how will the games progress in this case? Will teams be forced to field a second team of B players/reserves? Does not seem fair but I guess this is why all players have to respect quarantine rules.
