I could not watch any of the match today both Liverpool and City match. But seeing 0 - 7 win for the boys was crazy. Did palace played too bad or boys were not giving them any chance?

In the City match I wanted to be creative and gone with a draw but today City decided to win the match LOL

Still continuing my bad scoring spells.

and they did it, third in a row for Toffies, here they are coming back to the top of the table, it is actually city rivals on positions one and two at the moment, rare thing for Premier league, if the city is Liverpool
Everton was not that good today, but three points are great, and since this is third win, aspiration for CL are back, hopefully we can stay that high for few rounds

Good for me and those who had 2 - 1 in the pool. I thought in this match we will have more goals but I was confident that Everton will win. I have had some insight about it in another thread.

Against Southampton Aubameyang saved them, Southampton were better team in that match.
They were better against Burnley but lost anyway.
They were not near to the standard of Tottenham so lost obviously
Lost against Wolves
Drew against Leeds
Lost against Villa

Since the win against Utd they have not won any match in EPL and it's been one and half months 🤣

So after all these, it does not matter how Everton played but Arsenal were meant to lose today too.

I really still don't know why I find it so hard to pick Arsenal to lose in this kind of games, even when I have a great conviction that they are just going to lose yet again,

Probably because the odds were not too good either. I have been picking Barca at 1.5x thinking it's nice odds to beat teams like Valencia and then losing a lot. Arsenal have been giving good odds to opponents like 5x and above that's when you should be betting against them I guess.

They are playing like zombies now. Even Willian whom everyone thought was an excellent buy was lazy throughout.

I sort of have the same problem but at least I am confident enough to play that Arsenal is not winning. That way I cashed some nice money this season but it could have been way more if I played just outright against them.

One good market I started playing more and more on games like this is Everton 1x and over 1.5 goals. It payed almost double from simple 1x and I was quite sure this game would have over 1.5 goals. That market allows me to win even if the game ends 1:1 which is sort of the result I am most afraid off when betting on games like this.

I got 5 points in this round so far, which is pretty good for me. Like many others, I managed to guess "2:1" in the match of Everton vs Arsenal, so it helped with the points a lot  
I guess some of us just got lucky in this round, whereas pros like you and Steve got only one point so far. But we're only halfway through this round so far, so the spoon situation can still change drastically. In any case, it's not a big deal to get a spoon once, especially since your overall performance is already very impressive.

Well, Tottenham with 2 losses in a row, I wonder what's Mourinho going to say today.

It's really great to see us perform so well with Van Dijk and Gomez out, I thought we'd be in a much worse position after 1/3 of the season. If United win against Leeds today, they will be the ones that are the closest to us - 5 points behind with a game in hand. Have to admit I did not see that happening as well.

Leeds is a good team though - maybe they can nick a point (or 3)

Not looking so good for the Leeds at the moment, they are already 3:0 down and it looks like united will have a nice Sunday afternoon. Just placed few minutes before the game started on Leeds +1 Asian handicap. They I tune in 5 minutes late and my bet is already down the drain. I hope Leeds will score a goal or two and not just break apart.

Haha don't worry you weren't the only one caught out by results. I think quite a few of us also thought this was the week for Leeds to surprise us all and kick United in the teeth. 30+ shots in total taken by each team though so it could have gone either way for finishing!

bigdaddy is the big winner so far but I also gained some points so I'm not so disappointed:) Thinking hard now to keep or change my picks.

I didn't expect the thrashings Liverpool gave and Leeds received. I went for a mere 1-0 victory to Liverpool and a 2-2 draw with Man U and Leeds but maybe that was wishful thinking. Leeds didn't play that bad really and had most of the possesion but their defence is just so leaky and Man U were just breezing past them. I narrowly missed out on £250 from a free £5 bet as I had both teams to score in each half, two cards each and 2 corners in each half and the only thing that let me down was the cards as only Man United got one. There's usually a fair few in these sorts of rivalries but maybe the fans not being there didn't fire them up enough.

These last two games are hard to call as well. I might have to go with draws but Chelsea should be able to beat West Ham but they've lost their last two matches and West Ham have drawn and one their last two so I don't really have confidence in them.

Historically the Spurs do well against Leicester, especially Harry Kane.  I'm not so sure why clubs this season lose mometum everytime you're starting to think their picking up pace and would start dominating their opponents.  It's happened to Everton, Chelsea, LFC, City and now Spurs.

indeed, seems that so many good teams are in the league, that is almost impossible to keep momentum, and empty stadiums are taking their tolls as well
Everton started great, then had some nut loses and now they won three in a row, which is great, but I simply cannot overstate how surprised I am that Leicester is doing this good so far, and same for Manchester United, they have six wins and a draw since lost match against Arsenal at home, while Arsenal has five loses and two draws since that match, I bet that Arsenal would like that they lost from Manchester but took their score afterwards

Commented in the PL thread already, I didn't like how they fell apart after that 1st goal. United really had it easy, that does not happen often against Bielsa's teams.

With Everton I think it was lack of real quality, same as with Villa. The others mostly have a lot of games and injuries and this season it will be especially difficult to reach a certain level of form. I think the winner will not be the team that played the best, but the team that will be the last one standing.

So far the teams with biggest rosters are doing better, they are my favorites for the top spots at the end as well.

I think that it will be difficult for bigdaddy user here in the pool to lose the yellow cap for this round with only two games to go so I am congratulating him in advance.As for me I am happy with 9 points so far as these two last weeks have brought me to 23rd place as of yet while just two weeks ago I was lying near the end in 42nd place.

Well bigdaddy won it but only by half a point. Got zero points from those two games. Had Burnley to draw 1-1 with Wolves but they went and got the winner in the last minute. Also went for a 1-1 draw on the Chelsea game and it was 1-0 right up until the 78th minute and was hoping West Ham would manage to equalise but Chelsea scored and then got another within two minutes.

There's no games until boxing day now but there's a load over the holiday season and new year so make sure you don't miss them as they cram them all in and I think teams will be playing three games within a week. No doubt Klopp will be crying about that.

That is also my only regret that the next week is on 26th and I was expecting more midweek action.Also based on how many draws you had predicted the only two possibilities were you either would be the yellow cap or the second one score low points which was the case.
