This isn't true. Ronaldo played in the friendly game against Spain this week and if he plays in a friendly then he'll almost certainly be playing in the Nations League game tomorrow. I'm not even sure clubs can withhold players like this, otherwise they would probably just do it all the time as they don't want to risk them getting inured. The only people who probably have a say whether they're playing or not is the players themselves. I'm sure I remember Ronaldo missing a few pointless international games before whilst he's been on sunning it up on holiday. He might have even missed some games for Real or Juve when they've not mattered as well.

This is Nations league play and this is the qualifying stage so his county's team most certainly would want him to dress for this one. They need to pass the round to move on to the next stage of the pool.
If it is really up to the players whether they play or not and not up to their respective league in la liga/series a/premier/la ligue, then I would say he will play in tomorrow's match for portugal as well.

Yeah, and this rounds opening game is the Liverpool derby as well which could be huge. If Everton can get a win at home then they'll be buzzing and retain the number one spot. Villa in second place have a game in hand though and are playing two games so could overtake them depending on the results. Too early to put too much emphasis on who is in first place right now but start as you mean to go on. Winning streaks often give teams a huge confidence boost.

Liverpool always mess up after an international break and I would really hate to see this in this round but it seems odds are telling that we may see another not win for Liverpool. At least I am not confident.
Everton are playing good so far, they are playing in the home, Liverpool mess up after international break, Liverpool lost their last match badly against a team like Villa. Shit! But I am still going to back by team.

I hate international breaks, especially friendly matches. Only unnecessarily burden the players.
It will be fine if we have a list of players who will not play because of a positive Covid test. I think Liverpool had some new cases. It can be important because they have to play a very hard game against Everton.

That sounds like a bargain and you even have bad odds, what site is that? I just placed that bet on stake @2.7. I also added both to score in first half @3.8 and Calvert-Lewin to score first goal @7.5. Sportsbet has same odds and even boost if you had not used it yet but my account has dried up today so couldn't place a bet there.

Now I know what I want to see, DCL goal in first 10 minutes and then Liverpool strikes back with at least one goal until half time and wins the game later on.

I don't think these are such good odds at all.

All LFC players except from Allison are cleared to play (Matip, Mane, Thiago, Keita) and Liverpool will want to play it as safe as possible after conceding 7 to Aston Villa.

Calvert-Lewin is in good form but he'll be playing against one of the best teams in the world. With Mane in the team Liverpool's press will be on a good level again and with Thiago, they will keep the ball much better.
I'd bet on Liverpool, Calvert-Lewin scoring might be a decent shot but it's far from a certain thing.

yeah, League of Nations does not have any real meaning, and it is really boring to watch, especially if your country is not doing well, as is the case with Serbia, nobody is watching the competition here, we wait for the match with Scotland for European championship

regarding Premier league, can't wait to watch match in Liverpool, we are at top form at the moment, and this break is only good for LFC, but hopefully we will score and win after several dry years

It's nice to see some teams play, especially the big fixtures, but I don't like it when they don't take them serious and field b-teams. With that being said, friendlies are beneficial as practice for international tournaments but this whole nation's League thing is a bit of a joke. I get why they did it though but it's just another cash cow at the end of the day.

On games like this I usually like something like both teams to score (or both teams to score in both halves), 2 cards each team and 2 corners each half by both team. You usually get good odds on them at least on Skybet what I use. Don't know what the odds are yet as they haven't put the bet up yet but it's usually between 80-200/1 for both teams to score in both halves. The same bet on the England v Denmark match tonight is 300/1 but I wouldn't back that one. If you think there's going to be goals then it's often a good bet though.

Dunno...  I'm not too sure that would be a good idea with many of the players from both sides just right off from international duty.  I think it's gonna be a tight match and I'm thinking of dropping a little action on the first half result draw at a tad over plus money.

Edit:  Double chance for Arsenal at 2.87 seems like value too.  KDB and Sterling were pulled out during international duty.  That's huge if they can't play, esp KDB.

Edit:  Another spot I like is Brighton draw no bet at 1.92 vs Palace.  There's a little value there imo.

They seem to have a small boost to each selection too, so you end up with a nice bump too. Not quite the value of Skybet but definitely something I like to think about.

I usually go for over 1.5 cards and over 8.5 corners on a games I expect to be very attacking/defending on one end. It's when both teams play the same style I avoid. They're not really very good value odds on their on but they tape on significant boosts on ML odds.

Now this week all the games look suspicious to me and I have no clue what results to pick. That means that I will do extremely well and win yellow cap. Right?

I usually just stick with Skybet to keep it simple. I like their odds and offers as well. The bet for the Liverpool/ Everton game is 66/1. I put a quid on it. IF you make a minimum of 5p bet on any market on the match they give you a free £5 bet which is nuts. Have 3 or 4 or these so far this season.

I think we should just carry on as normal rather than ruin the economy likely for decades and life for millions. Ronaldo's got the coronavirus apparently but it's almost certainly going to be no different than him having the flu at worse but apparently he's asymptomatic. Apparently he was even watching the players at training without a mask on so like 99% of others he's probably going to be fine. If footballers start dying from it then I might change my opinion. Rather than waste billions of taxpayers money on furloughing people they should have just built more hospitals in the first place since we obviously need them. The elderly and at-risk and anyone else that is worried about it can stay at home and everyone else can carry on an normal unless it changes into a zombie plague or something. Getting tired of all these contradictory lockdown bullshit rules. Can't meet your family in your own homes but you can get on a packed bus as long as you wear a mask to meet them in a packed restaurant for a meal where you don't have to wear a mask... just as long as it's not after 10PM then you're not allowed to do it.

I tried to be smart every single week since last season and it gets me bottom. I overthink too much and should just go with favorites because eventually, that will come to the average score over the weeks. I read that goals in EPL are totally unsustainable now so average laws will mean fewer goals over the weeks, and 0-0 draws are coming. I don't know if I can actually make those picks though.
