I see it much before, UNNECESSARY hiring of Isak made by Liverpool by this ammount of money, he can be good but he is not close to this price.

Football keeps sufering a lot from inflation, the other day i saw a meme about that, the meme picture Woltemade and Cristiano Ronaldo.

And said: What 90 millions give you on 2008 what 90 millions give you on 2025.

A fucking joke.

For the sake of objectivity, it is worth noting that 17 years is a huge period of time  Even in "stable" countries, due to inflation, prices for everything have increased several times, and if you take the second echelon, then tens of times. Everything is logical. If you take these prices in bitcoin, then Ronaldo of 2008 became cosmically expensive (let's assume that bitcoin existed in 2008).

Does anyone find it ironic that Isak signed a new contract for 6 years again? How many years before this bastard goes on strike to leave?

We need him to do well so Bayern can get him off our payroll. I don't need him back at Chelsea when the season loan is over. Chelsea can work with what they have now and if Delap's situation doesn't get better then we can go for a new striker in January.

I do not think he will return after the loan, the relationship with Chelsea already looks to be broken and both parties moved on.

Some of that may be influenced by the clubs wanting more security and having the player on their books for longer, they do not have to worry about contract renewal this decade. Who knows? Barcelona may come calling in a couple of seasons.

It was a nice move by Manchester City on the last day of the window by the way. I think the Donnarumma signing was really needed for them.

I guess people who watched Trafford in the first games would agree with me on that.    He was really horrible man!

The chairman must be quite pleased with spending only €30m for Donnarumma. But he is one of high earners in the club of course.

Yes KTC i know what youa re pointing and is correct plus we can add the money via merchandising, social media, and television with more games is now much bigger so when you ahve more money you can spend also more money and all push upwards.

But i still feel like is so much the diference, we are talking about Cristiano 2009 a legendary player.

I wasn't the biggest supporter of the Isak move but hey, now he's with us, let's get shit moving. Also, a big part of why I didn't support the move was me somehow believing he was 27... I feel much better to find out he's actually 25 (same as Salah was when he arrived, which I feel is really the max you should be to get the 2 years to hit peak, and a further 3 to maintain it).

What a win for Liverpool and a goal good enough to win any game. Szoboszlai was immense, playing out of position too.

Was watching this with my son and there was a pass he made for Gakpo from his defensive side... and I said: that was from Trent's playbook!

And then he goes on and scores that goal from 32 yards out. Post-match he said he didn't practise either, just a gut feeling, and you could see in the leadup Gakpo and Salah were actually telling him to do it, they both walked away and after he scored, Gakpo had this "told you so" nod haha.

Guys enough about expensive strikers and players that England buy. At least many of them go on to play a lot of football.

Unless the angle is so good, I rarely ever know when ball goes in, even if the net bulges, I think my eyes have gone past middle-aged. Yes, I'm glad his agent was able to postpone the recall back move, knowing that the opportunity would not come again, and Jackson was basically going to be used as a placeholder until Delap returns in October, then pushed back to the bench until the January transfer window.

He knew his time was over after what he did against Newcastle United, which almost cost the team Champions League football, did the same thing in the WCC against Flamingos.

The board can fire the chairman if the majority vote on that. Shareholders of course can still overthrow the board and organize a new election, but the majority shareholder does not have to be chairman or on the board to have influence.
Spurs looks to be on the right track with their recent appointments, finally looking like a team that actually wants to win.

I am really interested to see how Spurs will play in Champions League and domestic Premier League.
I am not sure they have capacity to stay on top in both competitions, but they are in much better position than Man United.
Same thing I said for Spurs I wonder about Newcastle.

I don't know but I liked him, the way he kept Kane, Erikson and Son to their contracts amidst all the money offered, he chooses the club above money everytime he had the chance. Now that he's finally gone, we could see Saudi take over, he was the only way standing against it.

He laid a good foundation and with all those top signings this season too spoke alot for him

Are you sure about that? I dont really remember how fast or slow he was in his last season at Manchester City and i dont see him playing for AcMilan so i cant talk so much about it.
But as far as i knew he was sell because of a problem in the dressroom or with the wife of other player or maybe im wrong.

Same Klopp who broke two world record fees?  Are we going to act like he didn't sign 38 players and spend €954m?  In today's market, it could exceed €1.5b.

He spent less than Manchester City and United at the time, but don't pretend like he was Arsene Wenger..

Someone who signed 38 players doesn't sound like someone who was not fully backed up.
