You think this coin has been fun wait till you see the blackcoin train about to happen, its been referred to as mintcoin on steroids.

how so?

It's a copycat of Mintcoin. This is the MINTCOIN thread.
Not really. For one Mint has 70 billion coins, a much higher block reward and 5x longer PoW phase and 20% APY. Compared to 10,000,000,000 coins, 10,000 block reward, 1 week PoW stage and 5% APY for BlackCoin. I look at it like the ratio  between gold/silver. Both are valuable, one is much scarcer than the other and therefore much more valuable and the other is  more accessible and subject to higher volatility The current price ratio with MINT at 43 and BlackCoin at 1900 sat is 45:1, which interestingly enough is about the historical average price ratio of gold vs silver.

Cmon man. This coin came out 2 days after Mint started popping off, and it isn't gold to Mint's silver. Mint will still be adding a lot of coins every year, which is a GOOD thing because people will have a chance to buy in to buy into a coin that will multiply for them at a rate of 20%. Or they could go spend a fortune on your blackcoin (great name Roll Eyes) and earn 5%. Scarcity does not equal value.

Gold is valuable because it's GOLD! It has very unique properties, is indestructible, and is scarce. It doesn't really belong in a discussion about cyrptocoins imo.

If it was the best coin you wouldn't be here shilling. Also it's a 1% gain at blackcoin.

Sure to add to you're over 9 million. Lulz!

I would donate to someone that does not have much but I can't disturb my coin age just yet, I started mining 2/13/14.

My wallet should start minting around 3/5/14.

So I guess that each batch of coin as they get past 20 days will be minted since I'm on a second minting today. While I was typing this the skate changed again so it looks like more are minting. The number now read
Balance: 993296.289856 MINT
Stake: 60648.341174 MINT

Since I was getting coins ever 2~6 minutes does that mean it will mint more every 2~6 minutes. The first coins that hit my wallet was on 2/6/14 14:50 and the first minting was 2/26/14 19:18

Blackcoin is a waste of time and money, trying to steal Mintcoin's success. Only people in Blackcoin are those wanting to make profit that they didn't make in MINT.

Um I mined mintcoin week 1 and said the same thing. I never sold 1 single mintcoin even when we were at 25+ satoshi because I knew it was just going to go up and still will This is not a knock on mintcoin, just a trend where POW/POS seems to be the future of alts.

Value is a function of many components and is subjective depending on the individual circumstance at a given time. If you were in the desert suffering from dehydration, a glass of water would be more valuable to you at that moment than a bar of gold. When speaking of crypto currencies, scarcity is a fundamental component of value, that's why the 42 coin is much more valuable than Bitcoin and Peercoin (which is what MINT is based on) with a total supply of 21,178,392 coin is alot more valuable than MINT.

They are grayed out means, Status: 0/unconfirmed. Check the PoS mined transactions and see? That is what happens with my HoboNickel wallet.
