I thought that we will mine all 70 billions coins POW.
So there is reserve for next minting years 20%, 15%, 10%, 5% and after 3 years will be released all coins? Then 5% Minting will be from transactions fee?

I believe we had some problems with VARDIFF last night at http://mint.dogemoon.com.

I've made some changes this morning to hopefully rectify that. Would be great to get everyone back in and mining again.

Thanks

Really, pos coins can have orphans too? How is that even possible?

POS is mined in same chain and same way as PoW. Theres no difference other than difficulty formula.

why there are such differences:

Contributor Hashrates
[POOL mnt.coins4everyone.com] 33,873 khs    385,609.806 MINT/day
[POOL mint.dedicatedpool.com] 32,799 khs    894,274.360 MINT/day

is dedicatedpool more profitable???

of course not.
this is an estimated value, only based on a set parameter in the MPOS frontend.

we set it at 70k coins on mnt.coins4everyone because some blocks might be around that reward right now; some others with more coins reward.
We don't want people to claim we scam them.
Let's say that the X MINT/day you see on coins4everyone is the minimum and accurate you can hope based on current halve.
The value you see on dedicaded pool is the maximum you can hope to get.

This is true on any MPOS-using pool: this calculated value can be adjusted by the pool OP as he wants.
With coins with fixed reward, it's easy; with coins with random reward, you should not take care of this value.

In any ways, that will not change how many coins you'll earn.
The only parameters that matters are: your hashrate, pool's hashrate, global hashrate and diff (and % fee/donation but that's marginal).
The rest is just not important.

Dont be fooled by any pool or calculator estimates . Because of PoS blocks there are more than two times less PoW blocks now. That means in reality you will get about 50-60% less coins.

Hmm.. it's been 20 days + 3hrs since my first 20k mint landed in my wallet but still no stake. Why? How long can it take before the first coins generate some stake?
