There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.
Advertised sites are not endorsed by the Bitcoin Forum. They may be unsafe, untrustworthy, or illegal in your jurisdiction.

anyone here wil 10 million MINT or more?

who has the most here?

Well the dev premined 3% of MINT so I would imagine he most of it.

But wasn't there talk of him dumping it all on the market? That would explain why he wasn't able to tell us what he spent any of it on?

This just proves to everyone that reads your post that you know NOTHING about Mintcoin. It is CLEARLY posted at the beginning of this thread that there was only a 1% premine.

When people like you come here and post such rubbish trying to cause FUD, all it does is show that there are people like you that are AFRAID of what a TRUE crypto currency is going to accomplish. Maybe go back under that bridge you crawled out from under and troll someplace other than here, your infantile attemps are useless here.

Yup this is the same guy who was trying to say Mintcoin is pure PoS and therefore shares the same possible vulnerabilities of BC  Roll Eyes

-possible as in no known vulnerabilities at this time, but since pure PoS is so new its security is not as tried and tested

The dev premined more than 1% because the PoW ended early due to PoS blocks being calculated along with the PoW blocks, taking their slots.

The total amount of coins is not changed, he still mined 1% of total coin supply although it is more of the current supply due to what you just said.

Edit: doesn't really matter to me either way. What matters is how the premine is used and so far I can't complain about what the dev has gotten accomplished in the short amount of time this coin has been around.

Coins in circulation: 19 billion (source block explorer - http://mintcoin-explorer.info/ . Your main block explorer is down btw http://mint.blockx.info/get/chain/MintCoin as is your mintcoin website http://mintcoin.cc/cgi-sys/suspendedpage.cgi)

Premine: 700 million

(700,000,000/19,000,000,000)*100 = 3.6%

So yes dev has 3% of all MINT that exist in circulation.

The dev used the premine to make mint one of the most popular coins in a very short space of time. I doubt it would be as popular without all his hard work that he needed the premine to fund.

The minuscule premine is nothing compared to the value and benefit the dev has provided.

We have infrastructure and this is continually being built bigger and bigger, stronger and stronger. This is what will keep Mintcoin afloat during the cleansing. Crapcoins like you know what will fall apart. They have no foundation and no structure, Mintcoin does. Mintcoin is building a legitimate foundation, the Mintcoin Fund, and is constantly adding new merchants. I am glad that there was a premine and that this was given to the dev because he gave us infrastructure, support, and a foundation in which to grow on that will keep Mintcoin strong for the long-term. The premine protects our investment. The immense value that this brings is worth far more than the 1% premine. This ensures that Mintcoin will have value and a value that will keep growing and expanding over the years when crapcoins die off. Mintcoin is strong. Only the strong will survive.

HOW MUCH MINT DO YOU HAVE IN YOUR WALLET?

and plan on keeping it inthere

I want to keep a list.

I'll start

1 omahapoker  1.1 million

is there a site that tells how many MINT are in wallets?

thanks
   mrhollis1 7605520.13473061
lecristoph: 152943.69541 MINT
I mined from the start until the PoS-phase started but I have a slow computer, therefore the low amount. I will buy some MINTs when my budget allows me to.
