Nothing has change in regards to the coin, no?
If the coin itself is still in good health from a dev stand point I might have just the project to use this coin for.
My friends and I were looking to invest some money behind a coin and use for charity donations. We'd be making monthly $5k donations with the use of the coin to charities around the globe. We've been talking about paying someone to create a coin for us, but if this thing is already moving forward we could pick up with this one.
Edit; after all, isn't that what this coin's purpose was in the first place?
This coins purpose was a pump and dump. http://takeicoin.org/If that's the case it was a bit too elaborate. Also, so much personal info (if it's real) provided. As was stated before, Worldcoin was a scam, Scharmbeck was a scam, and now Takeicoin was a scam, and Sagefit has something to do with everyone of those.

1. The dev already know takei won't endorse it and probably threaten legal action. 2. He buy in votes on cryptsy to create hype. 3. He dumps like crazy today. 4. He announce that takei don't want to be involved. 5. Close the twitter and website. 6. Profit.
Pretty emotional and silly if that wasn't the plan all along...

This coins purpose was a pump and dump. http://takeicoin.org/Who really cares - all I'm looking for is a coin to use for my project. As far as I'm concerned I don't really care what the coin was used for. If it is abandoned I'd be happy to take the project over. I can create a new website, logo, and we will use this coin for a new reason. Really the name doesn't mean much to us.

If that so, it took my pump&dump virginity for a price of 0.5BTC (it's a lot where I live). Hurts.

Thing is, he didn't make any profit at all and the dump on cryptsy was really small. So all that work he did for months only got him what 2btc? Not even worth talking about. I'm sure this is real and he was forced to remove the site and twitter account from Takei's lawyers.

Odd how much of a loss he sustained to get this far... I sold him 49K TAK for 1 BTC... so 2500 Satoshis... and others were selling to him for 3000.
I am thinking maybe more of a cease a desist came down after the email to Takei's spouse... like they all finally decided they did not want to be involved.

Was the info real? I did not check any sources. So what now? Is it possible for a coin to "get new owners"?

That sounds exactly what happened. He was forced to remove the website and twitter.

You can rent hashing power online. What do we know? We do know that Sagefit was behind the Worldcoin scam, Unocs, Scharmbeck, and now TakeiCoin. He lied from the beginning about George Takei being onboard. You would have to be pretty naive to think that he didn't walk away with a profit.

I think he made the mistake of bringing out this coin before the green lite with Geroge Takei. We could fork the coin and have someone else take over and keep going with it.

Anyone know how I can contact the guy who owns the website/social accounts? I'd be interested in buying the domain and ownership to twitter/facebook etc.

Might as well just cut your losses and buy something else
