A miner that supports scrypt. The only one that supports scrypt at the moment is minerd which comes with the Tenebrix pack. And no, you can't use anything like CUDA, it would be against the Tenebrix's point of being a GPU-hostile cryptocurrency.

Well then this still is a bit of a fail for me. The CPU advantage is not that big really so then 2 Radeons = Phenom 1100T is not that big advantage for CPU people. So on a rig with 1x 1100T and 4x 6990 will be just like 5x 1100T which is still advantageous. Need to make GPU like equal to less than 1 core etc.

LONGPOLLs mean that a new block has been created to the Tenebrix network rendering all your current work units void.
Those hashing speeds mean how many times the miner has tried to find a match for that work unit before requesting a new one. Also explains why you get messages more frequently when you are solo mining, the miner requests new work units every five seconds when you are solo mining unlike pools.

The Simplecoin pool seems to send new work units every minute instead of every five seconds. Since the pool has longpolling it reduces the chance of stale shares (shares that became invalid because they were sent after a new block was generated)

And no, you don't have to do anything of that manually.

Finally got the (*@&%* minerd to compile in linux.
It was worth the effort, close to double the hashes of running the windows one in linux.
Too bad I didn't get it fixed during super low difficulty

Anyway, in case y'all have the same issue:
Edit ./configure to not check the libcurl version.
Edit the makefile and specify the path to libcurl in place of the @LIBCURL@ that is in there stock.
Presto!
(/usr/local/lib/libcurl.so is the path)

I don't know, but I'm back to mining cents of I0coin with my tiny mining power (CPU and an old Nvidia) after shortly trying the pool and getting nothing.

After about 10 hours of mining in the pool- my estimates are 0.19xx. Switched to solo, and 10 minutes later I found a block. There's something really wrong in the balance stats of the pool...
