lolcust, your reasons for the laundry service are profit-minded laundry should be a free service and done automatically
no miner or script should be able to disturb the laundry fund you shouldn't have the power to sell say 100,000 of the laundry fund a year down the line
alternatively, make me in charge of the fund for development and I'll just spend 5 million coins on improving the chain and fuck your laundry

How about making the official miner instead of paying directly the owner pay to the laundrytumbler to increase the plausible denialbility(sp?) for people receiving payments from the service?
Technicalities aside (I am in no position to comment on programming side), it raises the same issue as making every miner the "laundry guard" - directly involving people in operation of something they might rather not be directly involved with, depending on jurisdiction and position, without ever asking them. One might construct a miner with somewhat similar-ish behavior for those who are willing to volunteer for participating in such activity out of "stick it to da man" motives, tho... However, such activity if taken to the extreme might actually be unfavorable... hm... have to think about it. lolcust, your reasons for the laundry service are profit-minded u h8 market ? laundry should be a free service and done automatically [Liberty_Prime_voice=1] BAH, COMMUNISM! [Liberty_Prime_voice=0] On a more serious note, if laundering could operate without separate laundry buffers and a bajilion of coins in them, it would be totally awesome! Too bad nobody has proposed an approach that would not involve things like "perfect trust between parties" (lol) no miner or script should be able to disturb the laundry fund Errr, how does this even work, the laundry never receives anything and never pays anything ? Dat's ... not very useful. you shouldn't have the power to sell say 100,000 of the laundry fund a year down the line I won't have this power, since the resulting buffer assymetry would inevitably cause a stink, a market panic, Laundry Customer loss and TBX value lost, all of which go against the interests of someone who runs the laundry in a "non-communist" model alternatively, make me in charge of the fund for development and I'll just spend 5 million coins on improving the chain and fuck your laundry
Dev fund is about 1.5 so you won't spend five, other than that send your CV to lolcust_notrealemail@lol.com

you realize if I hire competent developers I'd have to pay them a decent amount of coin (like a real hourly so it's worth their time), so we might run out of development fund pretty quickly since TBX is not worth much

You realize that should we pull off the laundry, TBX will be worth much, much more, and might even become the "second official SR currency" ? Also, 1.5 mils is quite a lot of them TBX-es

^I think a ponzi site might be a better idea considering the amount of threads on the topic in the gambling room.I also think there should be a bounty for development of more open source miner software specific with optimizations for both Intel and AMD cpus that works with the Tenebrix fork.
BTW,Tenebrix just broke the .01 BTC barrier and is definitely rallying quickly over the last few minutes.Wonder if there is a bounty for reporting that, lol !
Tenebrix address just in case,haha ! tRQZQee49eXTb6foGLLCV9pfSSGirwrhjo

Tenebrix betting: How many trolls will come to say "TBX is a ponzi scheme" if I post a "Tenebrix ponzi" bounty.
I will post such a bounty nonetheless - I think 1000 TBX should be good enuff for that.

Okay... I now have a Xubuntu bootable USB stick, tried to download ArtForz and Lolcust minerd from github but it needs to be compiled? How do I do such a thing? Can't find a proper manual and I'm a Linux noob... (I used it for SETI@home so I know some basics) I guess a lot of people just quit on this because of a lack on HowTo's... And mining Tenebrix in Windows sucks (low hashrate). Maybe set up a bounty to get a manual and make it more user friendly?

I will use anything to get my 2600K to 2 khash/s per thread !!! It is damnright idiotic that a shitty Phenom II gets 3.8 khash/s per thread. What will Bulldozer get !? Maybe 4 khash/s per thread.
I thought this was supposed to be fair amongst CPUs etc. or might as well rename it AMDbrix. SC2 is balanced so cannot wait to start mining that if you don't provide Intel support etc.

https://github.com/ArtForz/cpuminer/tree/^^ Art Forz's experimental Linux-64 loving super-minerd Get it (use git or just plain grab the zip) Ensure you've got autoconf 2.5x+ and automake 1.7+ gcc-4.6.1 <- also good, good ensure you're compiling with 4.6.1 Get Midnight commander and use it to get rid of naughty ^M things in configure.ac , autogen.sh , mknsis.sh (for some reason, this stuff always ends up there even when I download my own one, which I know I've cleaned up) Run autogen.sh Look at readme. Look at ArtForz's suggestions here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=46363.40Do a CFLAGS="-march= *your arch flag* -O3" ./configure make and be happy. You can find some info on cow-pewter magic that goes before ./configure here : http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/gcc-optimization.xml ^^ Bulanula, you will need to grok which flags are best for ya.

If it complains about libcurl after telling it to make: Edit the makefile and change @LIBCURL@ to /use/local/lib/libcurl.so That'll fix it right up.
If it complains about a , when checking for libcurl, edit configure.sh and put a # at the front of the two lines it is annoyed with.

Ahh, you'll need to install libcurl then. After that, there will be libcurl.so at that path.
