I have to add Bitmaintech to + list, they completed my order and shipped miner in less than 2 days, and i got my miner working and in perfect condition. So they are fast and reliable.

Now did anyone heard of

http://bitcoin-hardware.nl/

http://officialbit.com/

Any experience with them? How reliable they are ?

The first looks like a scam.

I hardly feel that Cointerra has made..... "Compensation being provided"

They will give you a discount on future purchases.....That is NOT providing compensation on the product you have already purchased....

It's also a bit deceptive/scammy when they sell in stock 1.6th miners before shipping out their "2th" miners which are all actually 1.6th miners...

This company's rating has changed in the Manufacturer Trustworthiness Guide.

I like this feature... will you do this when you update all manufacturers?

Yeah I will in the future. I usually also email the important people involved so they're aware of the criteria, what did they did wrong, what they can do better in the future. This is quicker for now though.

VMC is a scam. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=491609.0

And should be demoted with your original scam warning reinstated

Rating of Avalon: B+ Huh  Shocked  Angry

With Avalon  Batch 1 and 2 they built trust. With Batch 3 and chip sales they cashed out their gained trust!

Mining with customer Hardware?-> Big No Go!
No refund for trade-ins?-> Scam
Lies about reasons for delays -> BFL style

In my opinion the rating should be: D-

Yifu is not part of the team anymore? useless. Everyone at Avalon is/was responsible for their behavior!

...VMC held at C due to the boards being sold not being originally designed...

    Just a heads-up:
    • There are exactly three delivered boards that have been verified: 2 to Bargraphics, and 1 to a guy in India (who has ordered 5 and received 1, after a long wait).

well the S2 has not been perfect in regards to batch 2 shipping time and issues/RMA delays and kncminer has gone to the darkside. I bet there are quiet a few who agree if you were to poll their threads.

Bitmain is sorting it though. I do agree with KNCMiner, but they've done nothing wrong, illegal or unethical in the immediate history. Let me know if you think otherwise though.

VMC is selling hashfast babyjet boards with a 64% failure rate. I have journalled this in the VMC thread and am updating the front page as more news and comment comes in.
These are the same boards that were supposed to be in the mining farm and the reason they are not up to the 200 TH/s as promised to the shareholders by ken could be reasonably attributed to this.

If you think that creating one of the largest mines in the Bitcoin world(without telling their customers upfront), causing customers that bought their miners to never break even, is not unethical, we have a different definition of unethical.

I am selling in stock OneStringMiner boards, based on the Bitfury chips. Have a look here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=495536.0

We know that though, and have continued to know that for the last 6 months. That's why they're stuck at B+. If your a customer of theirs you're free to refund in full any order. There's nothing anyone can sue them over, so there's nothing they can be penalised for further than they already have been.

I am not thinking of suing or penalising, it's just about the definition of unethical.

    Exactly this.
It is the definition of unethical.
