In exchange for providing help and promotion to Bittrex when they were starting out I found out today they offered me the ultimate insult.
Well ok, I will NEVER trade on your exchange again.
I will never EVER recommend it to anyone again.
I had a bad day to begin with and then I found out about this......
What comes around goes around. Good luck boys you are going to need it......

Even if you use Bitcoin through Tor, the way transactions are handled by the network makes anonymity difficult to achieve. Do not expect your transactions to be anonymous unless you really know what you're doing.

The bittrex orderbook graph is still pretty unusable. It only works properly for boring coins where no new orders are put. It is still as bad as I described it here. Order book graph pretty uselessI have a coding request. Please change one tiny thing, it is causing huge annoyance. To replicate the problem: (1) choose any market, switch to "order book" (2) Price range - dropdown: All. Good - but much more than I need to know. (3) Mark a range you are interested in by mouse-click-hold-drag... (4) ... release mouse. Great: The price range window I want to see. All cool. Then some trade happens ... and SNAP ... all is destroyed. The graph jumps from (4) to (2) THAT IS FRICKING ANNOYING :-) It no problem for quiet markets, where nothing happens, but as soon as a market is getting hot ... it renders the "order book" view pretty useless. Which is a pity. Please start reflecting how to change that. A checkbox "no update" ? Thanks a lot! P.S.: Other people - if you also find this annoying, please press "quote" and say YES ! Thx. Did you have 2 way authentication enebled on your account? Also is you email secured also? |

i was starting to use bittrex but after reading this page i ask my self if its a safe exchange.... if i send some btc there can i buy some coins and withdraw  of will i never be able to connect again in the website ? lol |

For me I can login, but can't view any trading, volume etc.
Seems like it tries to load, then gives up, and shows pretty much no information for each market.

I've been using Bittrex to trade for 3 days and have been impressed with their great service. Much much better than YoBit, in like almost every aspect. I've already made like 0.05+ BTC profit within 3 days with them.

Could someone pls explain why there is an "actual rate" when trading ?
eg.
if i put a sell for say 100000 @ 20 sats
sometimes the actual rate of sale might be @ 19 sats
thats a big difference, and not what i wanted / agreed to sell for
why does this happen ?

Maybe you are doing market orders, not limit orders? Limit orders sell for the price you set. I tried to withdraw some Btc from my bittrex wallet.. After two days also i was showing pending. Now i cancelled the order and exchange it to doge coins and trying to withdraw doge coins.. But it is also showing pending for a long time. Is there any idea how much time it will take to withdraw from bittrex account?
