Not allowing users to withdraw(but deposit)/requiring ID verification all of a sudden to be able to withdraw(even small amount), they're turning into scam. stay away from bittrex!

Sooo its my turn to write here...

Got 2 accounts EV, then the one with 0.5BTC in tokens got disabled. Withdraw limit is still 100BTC, but i cant trade and i cant withdraw a penny. Tokens traped. No answer from the support for a month.

Their support has gotten worse. wish i could just withdraw my balance and say goodbye for forever.

Maybe we should open site/thread and collect all the people who got hit by Shittrex, then maybe we will be able to find away to get our funds back in some way..

I think a class action law suit might be the way to go. I would name Bittrex and Ritchie, personally, in the lawsuit. Go after Ritchie's personal assets in a lawsuit if he wants to go after our personal assets.

You could even ask who lives in USA and who knows the owners' home of bittrex or their office (if they have a physical office) and then you report your case to the police and hire lawyers

But if you're really interested on taking a legal action, Instead of asking if anyone knows where does the bittrex team/office/s resides (Although, its worth trying since it might go viral), It will be faster to just consult a lawfirm regarding your situation so you can know what you need/ what options you have, in short to get a clear gist of things. The Feds need to step in and secure their servers before they are wiped. It's the only chance we have of recovering some of our assets after a class action ruling, so it needs to happen ASAP!

For those who don't know, this is a new action Bittrex has taken because I just made a withdrawal last week without a problem. However, when I tried to withdraw the other day, the withdrawal was denied because they said I was new (been trading on Bittrex for several years), so I submitted all the verification they requested and they still will not release my funds.  THIS DEMONSTRATES THAT THEY ARE INSOLVENT AND THEIR SERVERS NEED TO BE SECURED BY THE FEDS!   ASAP!

What will happen is they will seize the servers and distribute all the funds proportionally after a class action ruling.  If they are insolvent then there is no reason why some users should get all of their funds while some get nothing ---> it's not just the accounts that have been denied access, or withdrawal, but the whole user base which is in jeopardy here.  That's why the servers need to be seized as soon as possible ---> to prevent any further withdrawals because the remaining funds should be distributed proportionally.  See what's happening here?

I agree with you. its a big problem whats going in here with bittrex. I hope no one else will transfer funds there and hope that all of those who still can will transfer money out ASAP for their sake.

No ---> the more people who withdraw, the less those who are prevented from withdrawing will recover.  The servers need to be secured to prevent further withdrawals!  The remaining funds should be distributed proportionally.  Right now funds are being mixed and transferred off of their servers, believe that one!

Well, I finally received a email from support. They explained that they cannot grant my withdrawal after a submitted my Identification Card, a selfie, my Social Security Number, my first name, middle name, last name, my address, my DOB, ....etc.  I am, therefore, left with no option but to file one of these: https://www.sec.gov/oiea/Complaint.html   One of these: http://www.dbo.ca.gov/forms/bank/DBO-801.pdf  One of these:  Injunction Cal. Code Civ. Proc. § 525. Pursuant to Cal. Code Civ. Proc §526   And, whatever else I can file to secure my assets from further devaluation.  

They are slowly funneling our assets away and they are pretending as if it is a KYC/AML compliance requirement, but they received all of the documents the law requires yet still refuse to release our funds!  It's a matter of principle now and these people need to be stopped before they steal everybody's money!
