This thread was made in February, if i'm correct BTC was below $200 back then.

That was probably why people kept saying that BTC was dead. Right now it's certainly not dead.

Yes it may been a bit quiet back then but look at it now it keeps on evolving.

Its still rising little by little.

But, the reason why op probably thought it was, since we flat line with very little action in those time frames.

Haters gonna hate right.

I think the people who are still saying still after the Greek dillemma and the lack of financial governance by the EU must be crazy.

It's clear that bitcoin is the true currency... which no union or group of countries can compete with.

I also wonder how people get emotional when prices fluctuate. As a trader, you need to be aware that it wont be greeen always, there will be a time when things are badly off. However, every situation in the world of trading is seasonal thus should never pressure you. One thing I have discovred why people keep on complain is because they started trading with bitcoins with an aim of always making money. Anytime the price is down ad they are making losses, it becomes a concern and hence the posts.

Yeah, true but since it's rising right now I wouldn't say that it's dead.

I understand why OP made this post back then but still at the time, I wouldn't consider it dead, just taking a breather.

Exactly! And Ain'ters gonna ain't btw  Grin

But seriously, Bitcoin is not only not dead, it is stronger than ever now IMO. It keeps staying over $300 more than a month and it even looks like $320 is a new floor for BTC.

It's the trolls that are saying that. I don't think some really intelligent people would say something like this., since it would make no sense.
Just look at the innovation bitcoin is bringing. Even banks are interested in blockchain technology.

I lot of really intelligent people have said it though (Bill Gates, Warren Buffett, Jamie Dimon etc).

Being into bitcoin has really opened my eyes as to how people who should know better don't.

Man I just hope that with this Bitcoin price will be stable at 350USD.
Because in that case I well feel very happy. And I bet everyone want it too.

Yeah, mostly trader who say that. Like, "Hey, price is going down!! SELL, SELL" Then some newbies panic and sell their bitcoin. While the FUDer placing his buy order into the lowest price.

Yes, comparatively it is good price at a moment and really want it should be remain stable for few months atleast or should go a bit higher around $500 and that would be win win situation if the value reaches to that level, would surely sell my bitcoins at that price and convert it to my local currency.

People do get greedy.
I don't think Bitcoin would have dipped to below $200, no matter how much FUD is generated.  Tongue

Yeah, always. If they already have, they must be want more and more. It was natural.

I'm agreed. Don't think bitcoin will be below $200 again like in january.

My guess is, bitcoin would dip sub-$300 before going on to a series of rallies up until the halving time. That would give some people a chance to buy dirt-cheap coins before we move on to much higher levels. Also, this is bitcointalk, aren't you used to trolls and shills spreading FUD for no obvious reason? Grin

Yeah I doubt it too. Bitcoin is now stable around 350 dollars so I hope it will stay like that.

January 2016 I think it will be at $400 but $350 is good too.

new year means new chances. it might be that we will start the new year with a rally because people are hoarding bitcoins as the block halving is approaching. if it stays above $350 this entire year, then i am confident we'll reach at least $400 in january.

Yup just lets hope that will happend.

Only the problem is that will be expensive to buy more bitcoin.
