Ok...bitquark now has a cheesy little informative video i just made using some of the graphics we've been putting on facebook.  I'll be posting it at the bitquark fan page on facebook shortly.

https://www.facebook.com/bitquarkfans

The facebook video quality isn't that great.  If anyone wants the mp4 file it's 10.7MB, just message me and I'll send it to you.

Can someone tell me how to mine this coin with R9 280x?

I'm using sgminer v5, with quarkcoin kernel, but I'm only getting HW errors.

did you compile it from source or are you running the binary version of sgminer v5??

I'm on Windows 7 so I downloaded sgminer v5 and this is what I have in my .bat file:

Code:
sgminer --algorithm quarkcoin --no-extranonce-subscribe -o stratum+tcp://pool.bitquark.info:6010 -u user.user -p pass --auto-fan -d 0,1,2,3 -s 1 -E 1 -I 16 --remove-disabled --gpu-platform 0 --shaders 2048,2048,2048,2048 --lookup-gap 2 --thread-concurrency 12288,12288,12288,12288 -g 1 -w 256 --gpu-engine 1100,1100,1100,1100

Coming soon, btq.coinlocator.org

Users will be able to enter cross streets and get added to an interactive map database so you can see where all the bitQuark users are.

It's still there >>> http://www.cryptocoinrank.com/BitQuark
He just hasn't updated the API for it yet. I've tweeted and emailed him the new API url. Not sure what's slowing him down.

Oh i see, just taken off the home page. Oopsie.

LOL no worries.  I made 0.0005127 BTC profit from buying low and selling high on BTQ, and still have my original BTQ balance at C-CEX.com

I think I'm going to use the profits of some of my junk coins to invest in a little BTQ activity on Comkort, just so there's some activity.  Last BTQ/BTC trade there was on 7/14.

C-CEX has some steady activity, but not a huge volume.

Good coin, but no one really knows about it yet.  At least we finally have some type of video though.

Well I sold 3 BTQ at a loss on Comkort just to keep up trade activity so we don't get delisted.  That was depressing but worth it.  Now we need to get in gear and get more people interested in this great coin.

I keep hearing the coin needs more professional marketing, how's this basic infographic for you?  I am a bitQuark believer!

I'll try to make an instruction sheet/PDF for the bitQuark USB Wallet with graphics for the people who might not be so technically inclined next weekend with the same style.

That looks very good! I want to re-do the whole website, like you said, to give it a more professional look Smiley
As you can probably tell, I'm not that great when it comes to making graphics lol

The hashrate and miners are picking up pretty good now at the BTQ pool Smiley Keep on promoting!!! The rush is coming!!! Wink

The pool's hashrate is over clocking the network hashrate! I may need to lower the number of blocks used to calculate the network hashrate. Currently is sets the nethash based on the last 1440 block (12 hrs ). Might need to change it to the same as difficulty retargeting of 20 blocks!
